Daddy's Special Day

Khloe was so excited to wake up this morning and give Daddy his birthday present. We put a lit birthday candle on top of his breakfast omelet for him to blow out. So cute... Khloe was mad that he opened her gift when she wasn't there to help him. Ha! He had some big, outdoorsy birthday plans today... so Mommy and Khloe (since Bubby was in school) went on to run errands and go to a few appointments we had scheduled today. One important appointment we had scheduled was Khloe's eye doctor appointment. A nurse at her school thought she should see an eye doctor, because she failed their easy eye test (3 times), last week, during testing. Boo!!! Khloe was very antsy at the eye doctor's office. She didn't know what to expect as this was her FIRST eye doctor appointment. They were giving her pictures to read off, but Mommy had to tell them nicely that Khloe has known all her letters and numbers since she was 2 years old. So, the regular test would be fine for her. <smile> She did great, but the bad news is that she has a significant astigmatism in both of her little eyes, so her script called for glasses. Not a good diagnosis for either Khloe or Mommy. But, Khloe will be the CUTEST little girl with glasses! Maybe she'll choose pink frames??! And guess what, the lady in a white Acura in front of us (at Starbucks) paid for our coffee today. Awe... God is good!

Dancing & Dining Around

Khloe had such a great day at school. She enjoyed her dance class with several of her friends, too (after school). This group of little girls is cute, but most of them are about a year older than Khloe, so she tends to cling to her other dance friends (in her other dance class) a little better! The girls had free dance today after dance class... Khloe's Dance Teacher played the Disney's Frozen soundtrack (Let it Go!) and the girls danced freely. And... let me tell you all... Khloe really got in to it! She danced all around the room (creating her own dance moves) and singing freely. It was beyond adorable! After dance, Khloe, Bubby and Mommy met Papaw/Nana and Daddy for a special birthday dinner for Daddy. Khloe enjoyed a movie and snuggle time (at home0 after her eventful day.

Dancerella & Ninja

Khloe enjoyed her dance class today... she absolutely loves her friends in class, too! Khloe danced her little heart out in her new glitter ballet shoes (they were so sparkly and fun). After dance class, Khloe and her little dance buddy, London, enjoyed playing games on Mommy's phone. They were so cute sitting by each other and fixated in their game world (they were twinkies in class today, too... they both wore their new glitter shoes). After class, we dove into one of our favorite restaurants for some yummy appetizers, before heading to Bubby's Martial Arts class. She thought it was funny watching her brother fight fellow teammates.

Congested Cutie

Khloe was stopped up and not feeling the best, today. She has been fighting sinus irritations for several weeks. But, with the weather being completely WHACKY... It's no wonder Khloe and everyone else is sick. Again, temperatures in the teens one day and almost 70 the next... back and forth... and repeat. Good grief! Khloe missed her Valentine's photo shoot, because of it. But, since it was not something contageous (just sinus irritation), Mommy did let her go to her speech class today. Bubby was home sick, today, too. We are ready for Summer, already... How about you?!

Lovin' the Weekend

Khloe is a sucker for weekend fun. She really enjoys her weekends, because Daddy and Brother are home with Mommy and Khloe. Yay! Khloe had a little get together to go to today... seems like all her weekends lately involves some sort of party to go to. She's not complaining, though. Daddy has an intense Saturday fitness challenge every Saturday... and it is intense! So, she waited for Daddy to get home and then we headed to our Saturday fun. Brother met us in town... Khloe played a little at lunch... and then we headed home after all the fun.

Friends Day Wednesday

Khloe enjoyed this gorgeous day! She had testing in speech class today... to get ready for Kindergarten. She failed her vision test <sigh>... so, that was not good. Other than the vistion test, though, she did fantastic on all her learning tests. She is advanced in most areas. Way to go Khloe! Khloe enjoyed dance class today... the entire class took Mommy's advice and ordered the most adorable gold glitter ballet shoes for their recital costumes. They are going to be the cutest girls at their recital come Summer. Mommy had to meet a friend for appetizers, so Daddy took Khloe to a fun place in town to ride go-carts and play lots of games. Daddy won Khloe lots of prizes out of the machines - she was beyond thrilled! Ha! Mommy picked up Bubby from his MMA class and headed home. Khloe had such an eventful/fun day!

Rowdy Girl

Khloe was extra rowdy today. Not entirely sure why... probably the weather is making everyone just as whacky as it is, lately. Yesterday, it was 70 degrees with very little wind... and, today, the weather was sunny, snow flurries, windy and FREEZING cold temperature (digits in the teens) today. Extremely unpredictable this year. Khloe was completely full of energy today. She enjoyed learning about the snow and making snowman projects in her class. After school, we ran some short errands and picked up Bubby from school and went out to eat (Daddy had a business dinner tonight, so we were on our own). We ordered Khloe's custom Valentine's for her Pre-K class and her Dance classes. They are going to be super cute! She, also, finally got her Valentine's outfit in the mail today (and of course, she had to try it on and twirl around!). Can't wait! Fun Day today!

Daddy & Me Day

Khloe woke up this morning excited that she was going to spend all afternoon with her Daddy, because he didn't work today (it's a holiday -MLK Day). So, after speech class, Khloe and Mommy took brother lunch to school and ran some errands (including washing/clean out Mommy's car and getting Mommy's oil changed on her car). Daddy met us at the grocery store (so Mommy could shop alone). Khloe went with Daddy to go ice skating, walking through our museum and then an early dinner date at a yummy restaurant). Guess what... while Khloe and Daddy were walking around the museum, they ran into Papaw and Nana. Crazy! Overall, Khloe had such an action-packed day! What an exciting way to start out her week!

Khloe had a pretty relaxing day, overall. It was really cold outside... even with the sun beating down on us (really windy). So, we took it easy. Khloe had a little class today. Afterwards, we headed to our Town Square to see Papaw and eat ice cream. Mommy ran some errands and we enjoyed a quick lunch as well. Not long after Khloe was all warm and cuddled up back at home... getting ready for her big day with her grandparents tomorrow! She already really excited and assures Mommy that she is staying the night with them tomorrow night! Ha! Sassy girl...

Girlz Day

Khloe was a happy, little girl this morning... because, today, she got to wear her pajamas to school! It was Pajama Day... FUN! She chose to wear her Strawberry Shortcake pajamas. She looked so cute! After school, Khloe enjoyed her dance class. She was not thrilled with Mommy come evening time, because Mommy was heading to a get together with her friends, so she was staying home and playing with Daddy and Bubby. Daddy was happy about it, though!!

All About Khloe Day

Khloe loves Wednesdays... mainly because the day is totally devoted to her! She got to choose what she did today, after her dance class. She chose to go to one of her favorite indoor play places in town. A day suited for a princess. She was even treated to a scoop of her favorite ice cream. Khloe, also, worked on her learning programs at home... and got to read a few books with Mommy, today.

Giggly Girl

Khloe was in such a great mood today... She was super thrilled that she FINALLY got to go back to Pre-K today! Ever day that school has been scheduled (for Khloe), it has been cancelled because of ice/snow. But, she went back today... and she was so giggly and excited!! Khloe was a little clingy at first, because it seemed like forever since she was last there. But, she told Mommy to get lost after a few minutes. Ha! After school, Khloe wanted to go home and work on her learning games (online). The girl loves to learn and read... it makes her the happiest!

Blow Me Away

Khloe played outside today, but my goodness the wind was massive (out.of.control). The wind was blowing branches out of trees and other items all around town. It didn't stop our little girl from having a fun time! Has Khloe mentioned our weather lately is crazy?! Khloe enjoyed time with her Bubby and Mommy today running around (including the park), while Daddy went hiking to capture some pictures of frozen waterfalls. After spending the day having fun, she went to Papaw and Nana's house for some more fun. Oh what fun it is to be a little girl...

Funtabulous Saturday

Khloe woke up to the most beautiful day of the winter, thus far.  It was nearly 60 degrees outside with the sun shining and very little wind. Khloe stayed inside all morning, though, working on her learning apps, but by early noon was ready to head outside for some fun! Mommy agreed to take Khloe to the park and lunch (with Daddy). Bubby stayed the night with a friend, so he wasn't with us. She enjoyed some Italian food for lunch after spending a good amount of time at one of our local parks. There were several other kids with the same idea, today. LOL It was perfect outside!

Singing in the Rain

Khloe wanted to head outside and play in our bazaar weather. Yesterday, there was ice everywhere and school cancelled... and today, a thunderstorm and rain all day. So incredibly strange. But, Khloe is learning to accept this spontaneous winter weather. Khloe wanted to play in the rain... and dressed herself for the rain. She threw on her rain coat and rain boots... and, of course, she didn't forget her sweet umbrella (she has quite the umbrella collection). She was sticking to a horse theme today. Ha! Khloe went to speech class today and, afterwards, Nana picked her up (Mommy had to be somewhere important). Khloe hung out with Nana and Papaw all evening, while Mommy and Daddy went to dinner and a movie. She had a great time, though.

Craziest Weather

Khloe has been a little irritated about this crazy weather here. She has really been wanting to play and go to school, again, but she has not gone back to Pre-K since BEFORE Christmas break. It is really quite unreal. School has been cancelled because of snow... then ice... then snow/ice... and it was cancelled again, today. Khloe was able to go back to dance class yesterday, but has missed all her classes before and after. Stinks. Khloe and Bubby are bored out of their minds. There's only so much you can do inside... eat... play... eat... sleep... eat. LOL

Little Sicky

Khloe was under the weather today (this cold weather is causing our heat in our home to run non-stop... in return, causing our air to be overly dried out). It started with a sinus infection and is now irritating her throat. But, she has a really strong immune system, so she should bounce back in no time. Khloe had fun events planned today that we had to cancel. Mommy picked her up from one of her favorite places to play in town... she stayed with Papaw/Nana last night, so Nana took her this morning. But, she just wasn't feeling great when Mommy picked her up, so home she went to recover and get better. Nana dressed her today!

Baby It's Cold Outside...

Khloe said "Mommy it's freeeezing out here." And, yes, it was an extremely nippy, windy January day. Khloe did not particularly want to spend any amount of time outside, today. Silly goose. She did get to go check out a little waterfall with Mommy (after dropping Bubby off in town). The waterflow was running strong... even with snow still dusted on the ground. It was a pretty sight and Khloe enjoyed it, but she was in a rush to get to the car, afterwards. Khloe had a late lunch with Mommy today (before heading to her grandparents' home, again... Yes, she was just there!). She is heading to her favorite place in the morning with her Papaw/Nana!

Happy Fabulous 2014

Khloe rang in the New Year with her Papaw/Nana... while Daddy, Mommy and Bubby went to a celebration party. She didn't mind, though... she has so much fun with her grandparents! What better way to welcome 2014! Khloe has some big trips planned for this year... and will be starting Kindergarten this Fall. So, 2014 is bound to be the best, yet, for little Miss Fashionista, herself. Optimistically spoken.

Today, Khloe enjoyed spending time at home at enjoying the sight of snow on the ground. It snowed about an inch last night... and dissolved quickly. There's still some dusting left, though. She asked if she could build a snowman and we had to explain that we needed more snow to create that kind of art. Ha! She said some of the cutest things these last couple days... First, Bubby called her stupid (not nice, I know) and she rebutted back, saying "I'm not stupid... I'm a Princess?" It was adorable!!!! The other funny quote was her saying "I'm hungry, Mommy... My belly says I want food!" Ha ha!
