Ready for Daddy's Birthday

We played a little outside before running errands in town. We had to pick up cupcakes for daddy's birthday today. We are meeting Papaw and Nana at a yummy Italian restaurant in town. Afterwards, we will give daddy his present and cupcakes for his birthday dessert! :)

Waiting on Snow Flurries

Okay, I know we always talk about the weather, but the weather in our state is just bazaar! It was hot (upper 70's) on Monday, Thunderstorms and rain all day Tuesday and today snow flurries (lower 30's). Odd. Khloe was inside looking out our big window in our dining room waiting on snow flurries. She was convinced that she just couldn't see them from the window. LOL So, she begged me to take her to browse the outdoors. Mommy gave in...

Stormy Tuesday

We have been experiencing bad weather, thunderstorms and even tornado watches, today. What a BLAH day! Glad sweet Khloe is not afraid of storms, because it has been a noisy day. Yikes! Mommy and Khloe had to head in to town for one class, but we headed straight home after.

Dance Monday

New week... Dance class today. Khloe cannot wait until dance class every week! The weather was abnormally warm today (77 degrees). We played outside as much as possible before heading to Khloe's dance class. It was extremely windy, so Khloe was chasing leaves around the yard. Ha!

Obsessed with Easy Bake

Khloe has been such a good girl this week. She loves to bake with mommy, so since she has been such a big girl, mommy took her to pick out an easy bake kit. The new Easy Bakes are so much fun. They come with the cookie/cake/fondant mixes, all the cookie cutters, patterned stencils for designs on fondant, cooking tray and lid and much more... and the best part is that you can cook it all in the microwave! Such a super fun experience for any little princess! TGIF!

Big Messer

Not sure what got in to Khloe today, but she decided to almost ruin two outfits in one day. Right when mommy got her dressed this morning, I had faith she would not spill her drink on her outfit. I gave her chocolate almond milk right before we were ready to walk out the door. And, guess what??! Khloe spilled the chocolate milk all down the front of her outfit (which was off white, by the way). Her outfit was immediately taken off of her to be soaked in cold water and sprayed down with stain remover... and she never even got to wear it. :( Mommy let her pick out her second outfit for the day, so she chose Matilda Jane (of course). We quickly got dressed and left the house. We stopped to grab some lunch and Khloe wanted to bring her drink in the car. And, guess what??!! Yup, she was drinking her tea in her car seat and spilled it all down the arm of her shirt. As soon as we got home, I took it off her and soaked it, too, in cold water. Two outfits in one day. LOL

New Cupcake Shop

The weather was absolutely gorgeous today! It felt like we were in full swing Spring (upper 60's)... Khloe didn't even need a jacket. :) Due to the beautiful weather, we headed into town earlier than normal. We had class today with Miss Kari/Miss Helene... And, once again, Khloe's little BFF was absent today. So, she was in class by herself (good thing she loves her teachers). After class, mommy met a friend at a local/hidden boutique in our town square... only to discover in the same building was a cupcake shop. Mmmm... and we had never tried their cupcakes before. Khloe sat down and savored the taste of these little pieces of heaven!

Unplanned Trip to Dentist

Khloe was quite the little trooper today! She was eating part of a sandwich (when we were away from the house) and out came her bottom partial in her mouth. Yikes. Mommy looked at her and noticed that she had something big in her little mouth... So, of course, mommy told her to spit it into my hand. When she did, I discovered it was her partial (she had surgery on her mouth when she was barely 2 years old; partials were placed in her mouth). Not sure Khloe knew she had "fake" little teeth in the front of her mouth, but she sure figured it out now. LOL So, we made an emergency trip to the dentist (the best dentist around, by the way)... and voila! Repaired... and one happy girl! She looked just precious today - so glad she was having dental work done in style!

Busy Museum Day

Today, we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors too much... it was so windy and cold (36 degrees). But, we played in the front yard for a few minutes, anyway, before heading into town. We picked brother up from Grandma/Grandpa's house... Then, ate lunch at one of our fave steak houses. Right after lunch, Khloe changed into her dance wear and went to dance class. The girls were very moody in class today, for some reason. LOL Right after dance, we met daddy at an art museum in town (for coffee and to explore the new pieces of art!). Then, we finished the evening for dinner at Papaw/Nana's house. Mommy and Nana sewed some lovely toddler dresses up in Nana's sewing room.

Errands with Mommy

We had lots of errands to run today... Go figure, on a Saturday! LOL Brother and Daddy were away on a weekend hiking/camping trip, so the girls had a girly kind of day! We had lunch at Khloe's favorite restaurant (Olive Garden)... Afterwards, we headed to Papaw/Nana's house (Nana and Mommy worked on sewing adorable ellie dresses... Mommy picks out the fabric combos and Nana sew them up!). Papaw took Khloe to the park; He couldn't resist because of the gorgeous weather outside (mid-60s), today!

Waiting for Daddy to get Home

Today was a pretty calm, non-productive day. Daddy and Bubby were getting ready for their weekend hike trip. Khloe wanted pizza, since the boys were on the go, so pizza she got!

Craving Spring

Khloe is such an outdoor junkie... just like her daddy! She doesn't care the temperature; she always wants to explore the outdoors. :) Today, the weather was lovely. Mid 60s... not too bad for January! So, we played a little outside before class.

Helping Mommy with Dinner

Khloe had class today. Once again, her BFF in class was not there - Miss Ava! So, Khloe had class all to her self. And, it didn't stop her from being cute! :) Khloe wanted to be a big helper and help mommy cook a delicious Cod recipe for dinner.

Quick Trip to Papaw/Nana's House

Khloe ran errands with mommy today. And, she was such a big helper! She said so many funny things today! LOL We had to pick up Khloe's ellie dress from Nana (she borrowed it to use as a pattern to create more of the beauties - since she is an amazing seamstress). They weren't there, though, unfortunately... So, we ran in grabbed the dress and took some pictures of Khloe's outfit today (before we left). ;)

After Dance - Just Playing Around

We had a super busy day today... We had lunch with daddy at a delicious Italian Restaurant in our Town Square. Then, we shot over to Khloe's dance class. She danced her little heart out today. Before heading home, we still managed to make a stop at our favorite abandoned barn. One of our fave spots to snap a few pictures! We stopped by Starbucks and took our cakepop and salted caramel mocha to watch the sunset by the barn. It was freezing today! ;)

Spitting Ice

Yesterday, it felt like Spring... Today, not so much! It was rainy and cold most of the day. It started spitting ice after we played outside! Really??! Khloe got to see both sets of her grandparents today... She was one happy munchkin! ;)

Seems like Spring (Winter who?)

Today, the weather was gorgeous... Who knew it was Winter?! Khloe completely took advantage of this gorgeous Spring-like day! She enjoyed running around the trees and flower beds after her class (at her school)!

Even though it was raining today, Khloe did not let it stop her from having fun AND looking cute!! She had so much fun running around in the rain and trying to catch raindrops in her mouth... twirling her umbrella... and just being silly!

Lots of Geese

Miss Khloe had class today and got to see her bestie, Ava! She was so excited to see her... They haven't been together since before Christmas. After class today, Khloe wanted to stop by the BV Lake and see the ducks... and goodness were there an endless amount of Geese/Ducks there today. Wowsers!!

Out of the House - Town Square

Today, Khloe and mommy ventured out to get frozen yogurt - and of course, we went to our favorite self-serve frozen yogurt shop in town! Khloe was rewarded for her accomplishment today! After frozen yogurt, we took our lunch to a park in our town square and enjoyed some park time! It was cold, but not too cold to stop a cutie from having fun!

Today, Khloe had Dance class. She does Ballet and Tap Dance and loves her classes so much! Of course, she had to model for mommy before we left the house. Sweet girl!
