Tippy Toes & Runny Nose

Khloe woke up feeling pretty groggy. All this air pressure change (from the non-stop storms) and pollen invasion has really made her feel uncomfortable. She had a runny nose and itchy eyes. Khloe was tired most of the day and had a loss of appetite. Spring, so far, has been miserable.... it's unfortunate, because it is supposed to be the most beautiful time of the year. Boo. Khloe is such a strong girl, though. She never lets anything really get her down. She's so spunky and funny... What great characteristics in life! Khloe got to show off her recital dance in dance class, today. The girls have been practicing hard... and their routine is coming along nicely! Daddy left on another business trip (immediately) after returning from his last trip (which is rare). So, Khloe enjoyed dinner with Bubby and Mommy, this evening, at our newest restaurant in town.

Loving Daddy...

Khloe was happy to cuddle with her Daddy, this morning. He got home, last night, from a 4-day business trip. She was beyond thrilled to see Daddy and have him home with her (especially to protect her, Bubby and Mommy from these nasty storms). When Daddy went to work this morning, Khloe ran some early week errands with Mommy and then had a class. After the production of the day, Khloe headed to dinner with Bubby and Mommy (while Daddy caught up on work from his absence). It was yummy. Of course, more storms were headed towards us, so we went home and enjoyed family time (early evening).

Daddy Comes Home

Khloe is excited to see her Daddy... He has been on a business trip since last Thursday. She needs her Daddy kisses... and she will get them when he flies in this evening! Yay, Daddy! Khloe does not like tornadoes or icky weather. She doesn't mind calm storms, but today we are expected a series of terrible storms (with potential twisters) to run through our area. We are prepared, but praying for NO twisters. Ugh! Khloe has been hanging out with Bubby, today... Mommy treated them to some yummy Starbucks treats and a quick lunch. After doing some chores at home, Khloe spent a little time outside (before the storms rolled in).

Love is in the Air

Khloe attended her fourth wedding, today. She is going to be a Pro-Guest! We really wanted to visit the Farmers Market in town, but, of course, a family wedding is certainly more important... Not to mention, Papaw was the entertainment (at the wedding) and Nana did the majority of the decorating. Plus, Papaw and Nana were leaving immediately, after the wedding, for a 10-day trip out of town. Khloe had to say Bye. Khloe and her Bubby looked so snazzy... as usual. Two precious lads! Khloe enjoyed bouncing around at the reception (after sitting so still at the ceremony). She played with her little cousin most of the time. It was a windy day... but perfect temperature.

It's Friday... It's Friday

Khloe had a fun, relaxing day, today. She started off the day hanging out at home watching some of her favorite cartoons and reading her favorite books. It wasn't too long before she had her short class. Then, after class, Mommy took Khloe for a quick lunch at the park. Spending time skipping rocks at the park and playing on the playground equipment. After we picked up Bubby, we headed home and later dove into our favorite restaurant for some yummy dinner. Missing Daddy... He'll be home tomorrow from his business trip.

Ice Cream, Storms & Twirls

Khloe was a happy girl, today. She finished the project in her preschool class (for their Silent Auction at the school). They made a United States flag out of wood and paint and it turned out adorable!! Mommy already placed her bid... and it is going to go for a good price, believe me! Hope we win the bid. Daddy flew out this morning (for a business trip), so we had to fin for ourselves while he was away. Not a hard task. Ha! Mommy stayed busy, while Khloe was in school. We dove in to her favorite Ice Cream Parlor (for a quick scoop of ice cream and we saw Papaw!). Khloe went to pick up brother (with Mommy). Khloe had dance, but after we ran several errands... before enjoying dinner at one of Khloe's favorite restaurants in town. The wind was massive and the storms were stop-and-go most of the day. <sigh> We finished the day in bed... reading several Dr. Suess books (Khloe's favorite... she thinks they are so silly!), before bedtime.

Dogwood Invasion

Khloe was asking Mommy, today, what all the white flower trees were. Mommy explained they were the Dogwood Trees... Mommy's favorite tree! They just so happy to bloom around Easter every year (holding true to the Legend of the Dogwood poem). Khloe was intrigued by the Dogwood story. So, we decided to stop by a batch of Dogwood trees, after her little class, today... just to take some pictures of their beauty (and Khloe's too!). It was a rainy day, so Khloe was excited to wear her new rain boots!
