Splash Park & Dining with Daddy

Today, Khloe played at the Splash Park (the park recently opened for Summer). She had a good day, beforehand, running errands with Mommy... including visiting our friends at Bella Jack's Boutique. After oodles and oodles of fun at the Splash Park, Daddy treated Khloe and Mommy to dinner at our local seafood diner. Daddy took Khloe to an ice cream parlor in our town square, after she ate all her catfish. We've been cautious of bad weather for the past two days... as we have been surrounded by tornadoes. So, we called it an early night and headed home to get prepared for storms and get much needed sleep for Khloe's Dress Rehearsal and BIG DANCE RECITAL tomorrow!! Yay!

Last Dance Class of Season

Khloe had her last ballet/tap dance class of the 2012-13 dance season. The girls practiced their recital dance today... over and over. They will do great come Saturday (Recital Day!). We just love all Khloe's friends in dance class... and her sweet Teacher! It's been a great season, no doubt! After class, Khloe was treated to ice cream (cookies & cream). Mmm! Then, we headed home to beat the bad storms that are headed our way.

S.Dakota Wedding Venture

We haven't updated our blog in many days. Our family went on vacation for 12 days to visit beautiful Colorado and S.Dakota. We completed our trip in S.Dakota at our friend's wedding. It was beautiful. Khloe made so many friends and was the life of the party. She loved being the center of attention on the dance floor at the wedding reception! She had so much fun... and everyone adored our little princess, Khloe!

TGIF - Park Time

Khloe wanted to spend some time outside, today... So, we headed to a local park that we enjoy visiting in our town. Khloe loves to see the tadpoles and fish swimming freely in the pond. She, also, loves to admire the landscape with all the beautiful flowers. We relaxed a little before picking up Bubby from school (his last day of school today!). We had an overloaded schedule, too, as we were running last minute errands before heading out of town (vacation) for 11 days... exploring both Colorado and South Dakota. Fun times in the very near future, for sure!

Doughnut Day with Bubby

Khloe spent the morning packing for our upcoming trip to Colorado. She is so excited! But, we had to run some errands this morning... including taking Bubby to his job shadowing (for school) at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in town. He got to shadow for two days to see what the real working world is like. Khloe reaped from her brother's experience... as he brought her home a huge box full of smiley face doughnuts. Yummy! Bubby became her best buddy! ;)

Duck...Duck...Goose

Khloe had so much fun today. The early part of the day, we spent reading some short stories and reciting words. She practiced writing her name and coloring in the lines. Then, we left the house to grab some shirts to pack on our upcoming trip to Colorado. We dropped Daddy off to do a little kayaking around the lakes near our home (with his friend). Of course, we couldn't complete the day without visiting the ducks and geese in the park. So, we did just that. Khloe loves watching them swim by and peek at her. There's a little park in the premises, so she got to play on the park equipment, too, before we headed to dinner.

Dancing with Couture

Khloe had dance class today... She loves Mondays! She got to practice her recital dance and see all of her good friends. The other girls' mothers kept telling Khloe that she looked very couture today. Something about the color (beige) of her tutu dress impressed the moms and her dance teacher (she always wears frilly dance outfits to class... not sure what the fuss over this one was - LOL). Funny. The girls did so well today... they even did fantastic reciting the dance without their teacher instructing them. Good job girls! Afterwards, Khloe and Mommy met Daddy at a local restaurant (Red Onion) for a late, but yummy, lunch.
