Mommy's Little Helper

Khloe really wanted to help Mommy work on projects today... projects for her big  party this weekend! So, we checked out some of our local hobby stores, fabric stores and supplies stores for materials we needed. Mommy has been painting and crafting all work... so much to do in so little time. But, it's all coming along nicely. Khloe is going to be so excited. We, also, met up with Daddy today (after he got off work) and bought all the foods/drinks for the party this weekend. Khloe is staying the night with her Papaw/Nana, tonight. It rained today. Happy day for a little sweetheart!

Summer Reading

Khloe is really liking her second week of Summer! She chose to have a fun, girly day. She wanted to learn and read at the library, today... Luckily, it was Toddler Storytime, today. She read three books with the other kids and then worked on a project, afterwards, related to the stories she read. She loves to read! After library time, Khloe wanted to go home and jump on her trampoline... and swim a little. It was a pretty mild-temperature day, but it calls for rain the next few days (as long as it doesn't rain this weekend for her big party).

Back in the Routine of Things

Khloe was sad to see her trip end, but excited to get home. She wanted to jump on her trampoline and ride here Powerwheels car... and much more. Today, she spent the day unpacking with Mommy; she loves to pack and unpack her suitcase. Ha! Khloe couldn't wait to see her grandparents, either. So, although it was pouring down rain, Khloe still managed to sweet talk her way to their house (and even got to stay the night!). She sure knows how to get her way... but, no one can refuse her cuteness. There is a special birthday surprise for Khloe waiting at Papaw and Nana's house; so while she was there, they had to prevent her from seeing it (a real pony!). Khloe is counting down the days until her big birthday. Less than a week to go!!!

Last Day in Frisco

Khloe was sad to see her first Summer road trip come to an end, but she had so much fun these past several days!! She really loves her friends in the Region... and only grows a closer bond to them every time she sees them. Her heart is so happy! Today, she shopped around a little (hitting up Dave & Busters, Carousel Ride and a fun evening of sing offs (which she won 3rd Place out of 30 kids in the kids zone) and dancing. She is not a shy girl, by any means... just soft spoken. Khloe loved spending time at the hotel swimming with her Daddy and Bubby, too, this trip!

Much Fun in Frisco (Texas)

Khloe could not wait to take her first road trip this Summer... First Trip: Frisco, Texas.  Daddy's company had their Regional Meetings here this year (far from home). Khloe was so excited to stay in the hotel... and carry in her own luggage. Sweet girl! Mommy didn't get a chance to take her daily picture, until today. But, we had already been in Texas for two days. Khloe enjoyed seeing her friends (the other kids) in the Region. She was truly Miss Independent roaming around, like she was her own boss. Ha! Tonight was the Ranch themed event... so much fun... line dancing, photo booth, horseshoes, card games, wagon ride, marshmallow roast and tons more fun. Dinner was baked beans, coleslaw and beef brisket.

It's Mon-fun-day...

Khloe always welcomes each new week with fun activities. Today was no different. She ran some mid morning errands with Mommy... enjoyed a quick (grab-and-go) lunch... and headed home to enjoy some fun in the sun (in our backyard, because it was 91 degrees today... yikes!). Khloe has been getting sun every day... and Mommy has been applying lots and lots of sunscreen on this sweet, sensitive-skinned little dolly! She would live outdoors if you would let her... as it is one of her favorite things to do... explore the outdoors and breathe in fresh Spring (well, practically Summer) air!

Happy Daddy's Day

Khloe stayed overnight, last night, with her Papaw/Nana. She ate a big biscuits/gravy breakfast (prepared by Nana) and then headed to church. (Mommy, Daddy and Bubby were supposed to meet her at church, but we were running behind this morning.)  After church, Nana had other obligations, but Papaw and Khloe met up with Daddy, Mommy and Bubby for Father's Day Brunch at one of our favorite gourmet restaurants in town! Khloe was super excited to spend the day with most of her loved ones... Especially her Papaw and Daddy on Father's Day! After our yummy lunch, Papaw and Nana headed back to Khloe's house to help Daddy build a privacy fence and covered ATV area. Papaw is such a good craftsman and builder!! While they were building, Khloe jumped on her trampoline and swam in her own water park (that Daddy built her in our backyard).
