Pony Up... Exciting 1st Week Back

Khloe completed her first week back to Pre-Kindergarten this week! She said that she "loves her school" today. Awe!! She made several new friends at school... and enjoyed her 2nd week back to dance classes. Way to go, Khloe! Mommy received Khloe's long awaited custom Princess bed yesterday (from the company who created it for Mommy in New York). The bed is gorgeous, but the shipping company (R&L Carriers) totally destroyed the beautiful bed... they delivered it to our home scratched, dented, dirty, chunks missing, hole busted in headboard, foot on headboard completely missing and the list goes on and on. Mommy cried... so hard. We have been waiting on this one-of-a-kind heirloom bed for Miss Khloe for almost 2 years... and the delivery company destroyed it in less than one week of delivery. Pathetic. Khloe was so sad, too. So, with all the positive things this week happening this week, this was not a good way to end our terrific week! (NOTE: DO NOT use R & L Carriers for your cargo delivery... ever!!!) Khloe got to go to her Papaw/Nana's house tonight for dinner, to feed her pony and watch them work on their new building (behind their home). She even washed her white convertible Powerwheel car... She was cruising and looking good in it!

1st Day Back to Pre-K

Khloe was happy to get to go back to Pre-K this year. She started back today. We just adore her teachers and the school that she goes to... it's the best! It is Khloe's little home away from home. She was supposed to start Kindergarten this year, but after fully registering her in Kindergarten, we pulled her enrollment at the end of the Summer. Mommy and Daddy felt that she was much too petite to begin big girl school... her friends hover over her in height (by minimum of 6"+). And, since her birthday falls just a couple weeks before the Kindergarten cut off date in our state, we truly believed it would be perfect for her. She will now be the oldest in Kindergarten (next school year), but not by very many months. Everyone will turn 6 years old shortly after school begins. So, it is really not that big of a difference. Khloe is exceptionally smart for her age... she is on a 1st grade level knowledge-wise. So, the worst that could happen is that she catches up to her friends her age in height this year... and then will get to skip a grade or two. :) We all are happy with this decision! Mommy, especially, because it gives her one more year to get to have a little sidekick (Khloe) all to herself!

Miserably Hot & Adorably Cute

Khloe was not too thrilled about the extreme heat, today. Wow... it sure was HOT outside! Khloe was super excited about getting to hang out with some kids tonight (we had dinner guests and their kids come over). Nana came over and put wall paper on our new drywall in our sun room today (so sweet of her!) and then we prepared the food for our guests. Khloe enjoyed having kids over, but their ages were not the same as hers... and she was being a mother hen over her toys and room. Ha!

Back in the Swing of Things

Khloe was excited to start back on her normal schedule. Bubby started school this week... and Khloe started back at dance this week (both of her dance classes). She loves to be on a schedule... especially during the school year. Everyone is happy. Today, Khloe had a little date with Mommy at our favorite coffee shop in town. Everyone at the shop just adores her! It was blazing hot outside, so there wasn't many fun things to do outside. Khloe, Mommy and Bubby met up with Daddy to do a little shopping and then ate at one of our favorite restaurants in town. It was delicious. So far, it has been a great week!

Fun at the Fair

Khloe was so excited to go to the fair today! She had been waiting patiently whole week. She is such a daredevil - like her daddy. So, of course she wanted to ride all the big rides and go super fast. Very rarely did she want anyone to ride with her. She rode 14 rides! Way to cram it all into one full night of fun. Papaw & Nana came, too!

Praying for our Friend

Khloe wanted to spend some quality time outside, today, because the weather was perfect! It was 83 degrees. Mommy took Bubby to his friend's house, after lunch. Khloe made some little friends during lunch... she was playing in the kids play zone. A good friend of ours had surgery this morning... we have been constantly praying for him today... for the grace of God looking after him and healing him. It is a major surgery and we are awaiting news. Khloe told Mommy she would pray for him because he was sick. Such a sweet, precious girl!

Last Week of Summer Break

Khloe is getting excited about started back to school, next Monday. So, this week is all about enjoying our last week of Summer Fun!! Today, Khloe and her Bubby ran errands with Mommy. We enjoyed a chicken/gravy lunch (Khloe loves it!) and coffees for an afternoon pick-me up. Ha! Mommy submitted some beautiful pictures (her and Daddy took on their last two trips) to a local photo contest. Keeping fingers crossed that they place!

Party Overload Day

Khloe was so excited to start her day today... Today, she attended two parties. One party was her little friend, Avery's, birthday party (they are dance buddies). The other party was a good luck party for our good friend, who is undergoing surgery to rid himself of cancer (he is far too young!!). Khloe had so much fun seeing her friends all day... At Miss Avery's birthday party, Khloe got to bowl (for the first time) and ride the kiddie Go Karts (also, for the first time by herself). She has super happy... not to mention pizza and games galore. Ha! At the second party she attended, her good friend from PreK, Mason, was there... and she was ecstatic! They are such buddies!

Khloe wanted to spend some time outside today. Daddy, Bubby and his friend, Brad, left this evening to go on their overnight camping trip/kayaking adventure. So, Khloe and Mommy went in to town for Frozen Chais and Ice Cream... Then, making our way to a floral park in town to snap some quick pictures of Miss Khloe! Mommy wanted to play around with a new lens she got for her camera... and, luckily, sweet Khloe loves to pose for pictures! She had fun with Mommy this evening... We are best friends!

Hanging with the Boys

Khloe has really enjoyed spending time with her brother and his friend these past few days. Bubby's best friend, Brad, spent the week with us (while his mother was out of town). Today, Khloe was treated to ice cream, while running errands with Mommy and the boys. The boys had to pick up their schedules for this year's classes at their school. She pranced around town... gaining compliments on her cuteness every where she went, today. Khloe, also, got to visit with Papaw today (he gave her some special treats). When Daddy got home, she played Playstation (Mario Kart) with him... She loves that game! :)

Day at the Fair

Khloe woke up and said "Today's the day..." Ha! She was super excited about going to the local fair in our town. She is such a little dare devil (like her Daddy). She wanted to ride the biggest rides, go hands free and prove to be a thrill-seeker. Khloe has so many sides to her... She is a girly girl, outdoor junky, dare devil, performer and so much more. She couldn't wait for her Daddy to get off of work and take her to the Fair. Finally it was time... and she soaked up every second of her time there. Ha!

Mommy & Daddy Home from Ireland

Khloe was so excited today, because she spent an entire day with Mommy! Mommy and Daddy have been away on their vacation to Ireland for the past 11 days, while Khloe stayed with her Papaw and Nana. Today, she wanted to eat at one of her favorite restaurants... After picking up her Bubby (who she has not seen since Mommy and Daddy have been gone, either). She missed her Bubby so much! Needless to say, she was a super happy girl today! Khloe helped Mommy unpack today... Giving mommy an extra amount of hugs and kisses all day! Awe. After a full day with Mommy, Khloe met up with Daddy (after work) and went to an amusement center with him, Bubby and Bubby's friend (while Mommy stayed home to unpack and tidy the house up). Fun, fun!!
