Milestone Birthday Party

Khloe was so thrilled to finally wake up and it be her party day! Mommy scheduled her beautiful birthday party in the early evening, that way she could decorate all day for it. That strategy worked out well! Mommy took birthday pictures of Khloe yesterday. Today, Khloe would make her grand entrance to her party and get the surprise of her life, thus far... her very own real Pony named Champ! Papaw and Nana got it for her... and will keep it out on their land. Papaw is a pretty amazing Cowboy! The Pony Revealing happened during her big birthday party. It was a beautiful party on this beautiful day... with a gorgeous sunset. What more can a girl ask for?

Pictures for Daddy

Khloe contined helping Mommy get things ready for her party, this weekend. Khloe, Bubby and Mommy ate Italian food for lunch today... at Khloe's request. It was yummy! But, we had to meet Daddy in town to take some professional pictures of him and his teammate for a reality competition they are part of this coming Fall. Khloe hung out at our town square, playing around, while Mommy snapped some quick pictures of  the crew. Overall, she enjoyed her day and played hard. It was miserably hot, today!

Mommy's Little Helper

Khloe really wanted to help Mommy work on projects today... projects for her big  party this weekend! So, we checked out some of our local hobby stores, fabric stores and supplies stores for materials we needed. Mommy has been painting and crafting all work... so much to do in so little time. But, it's all coming along nicely. Khloe is going to be so excited. We, also, met up with Daddy today (after he got off work) and bought all the foods/drinks for the party this weekend. Khloe is staying the night with her Papaw/Nana, tonight. It rained today. Happy day for a little sweetheart!

Summer Reading

Khloe is really liking her second week of Summer! She chose to have a fun, girly day. She wanted to learn and read at the library, today... Luckily, it was Toddler Storytime, today. She read three books with the other kids and then worked on a project, afterwards, related to the stories she read. She loves to read! After library time, Khloe wanted to go home and jump on her trampoline... and swim a little. It was a pretty mild-temperature day, but it calls for rain the next few days (as long as it doesn't rain this weekend for her big party).

Back in the Routine of Things

Khloe was sad to see her trip end, but excited to get home. She wanted to jump on her trampoline and ride here Powerwheels car... and much more. Today, she spent the day unpacking with Mommy; she loves to pack and unpack her suitcase. Ha! Khloe couldn't wait to see her grandparents, either. So, although it was pouring down rain, Khloe still managed to sweet talk her way to their house (and even got to stay the night!). She sure knows how to get her way... but, no one can refuse her cuteness. There is a special birthday surprise for Khloe waiting at Papaw and Nana's house; so while she was there, they had to prevent her from seeing it (a real pony!). Khloe is counting down the days until her big birthday. Less than a week to go!!!

Last Day in Frisco

Khloe was sad to see her first Summer road trip come to an end, but she had so much fun these past several days!! She really loves her friends in the Region... and only grows a closer bond to them every time she sees them. Her heart is so happy! Today, she shopped around a little (hitting up Dave & Busters, Carousel Ride and a fun evening of sing offs (which she won 3rd Place out of 30 kids in the kids zone) and dancing. She is not a shy girl, by any means... just soft spoken. Khloe loved spending time at the hotel swimming with her Daddy and Bubby, too, this trip!

Much Fun in Frisco (Texas)

Khloe could not wait to take her first road trip this Summer... First Trip: Frisco, Texas.  Daddy's company had their Regional Meetings here this year (far from home). Khloe was so excited to stay in the hotel... and carry in her own luggage. Sweet girl! Mommy didn't get a chance to take her daily picture, until today. But, we had already been in Texas for two days. Khloe enjoyed seeing her friends (the other kids) in the Region. She was truly Miss Independent roaming around, like she was her own boss. Ha! Tonight was the Ranch themed event... so much fun... line dancing, photo booth, horseshoes, card games, wagon ride, marshmallow roast and tons more fun. Dinner was baked beans, coleslaw and beef brisket.

It's Mon-fun-day...

Khloe always welcomes each new week with fun activities. Today was no different. She ran some mid morning errands with Mommy... enjoyed a quick (grab-and-go) lunch... and headed home to enjoy some fun in the sun (in our backyard, because it was 91 degrees today... yikes!). Khloe has been getting sun every day... and Mommy has been applying lots and lots of sunscreen on this sweet, sensitive-skinned little dolly! She would live outdoors if you would let her... as it is one of her favorite things to do... explore the outdoors and breathe in fresh Spring (well, practically Summer) air!

Happy Daddy's Day

Khloe stayed overnight, last night, with her Papaw/Nana. She ate a big biscuits/gravy breakfast (prepared by Nana) and then headed to church. (Mommy, Daddy and Bubby were supposed to meet her at church, but we were running behind this morning.)  After church, Nana had other obligations, but Papaw and Khloe met up with Daddy, Mommy and Bubby for Father's Day Brunch at one of our favorite gourmet restaurants in town! Khloe was super excited to spend the day with most of her loved ones... Especially her Papaw and Daddy on Father's Day! After our yummy lunch, Papaw and Nana headed back to Khloe's house to help Daddy build a privacy fence and covered ATV area. Papaw is such a good craftsman and builder!! While they were building, Khloe jumped on her trampoline and swam in her own water park (that Daddy built her in our backyard).

Dance & Daddy Fun

Khloe woke up ready to take on this busy day. She started off with a yummy breakfast (made special by Mommy) and loving on Bubby. She loves that Brother is out of school and can spend time with her! We headed in to town to meet with Brother's school and see if his Orthodontist could work him in (a bracket came loose from one of his molars). We grabbed a quick lunch and Starbucks treat... then, headed to Khloe's last Hip Hop/Jazz dance class (well, last of the season... but Recital is this weekend to show off all their hard work. Khloe, after this class, is officially schedule free this summer... all classes have ended until Fall. Yay! Mommy headed back to the dance studio to help with last minute recital needs, tonight. But, Khloe went on to a Daddy/Daughter Date Night at Chick-Fil-A.

Let Summer Fun Begin...

Khloe (and her Bubby) are both out of school for Summer Break. Getting to spend lots of time together... and with Mommy! Khloe's last day of Ballet and Tap Dance class was today (well, for the 2013-2014 dance year)... Just her Dance Recital left (which is this weekend). So, Miss Natalie (one of the dance moms) brought a "Congratulations" huge cookie to class to show the girls that they have had a wonderful year... and a successful year! Their dance is so cute and their Recital Song this year is "Bippity Boppity Boo" (from Cinderella). Little Princesses! After dance, we had a quick lunch and then headed home to watch Papaw (Daddy helping) build a Rock Climbing wall and privacy fence in our back yard... While Mommy cooked Turkey burgers and veggies for dinner. (Khloe got attacked by mosquitoes while she was outside.) Boo.

A Break in the Rain

Khloe is thrilled that it is not raining, right now. It has literally been raining for weeks here... every single day. Today she took it pretty easy (after have spent the last two days with the Papaw/Nana). She wanted egg omelets for breakfast, then we met up with Daddy for lunch (catfish... Mmm!!)...  Then, we picked up Bubby in town and headed for a frozen Chai in town. Khloe ran around skipping and jumping on the rocks today... she loved that she could play outside without the rain being an annoyance. Daddy bought Mommy a new lens for our Canon camera and Mommy played around with the awesome lens when we got home (of course, playing around included taking fun modeling shots of Miss Sass, herself, Khloe). We got this new lens just in time for Khloe's Dance Recital this weekend!

Daddy's Away on an Adventure

Khloe was missing her Daddy, today. He was in Nashville for an outdoor competition. So, we spent the day enjoying each other. Khloe had lunch with Mommy and Bubby.... played around town... and then headed to her grandparents' home for dinner with Papaw (while Mommy went to a Country Music Concert with a friend). She absolutely loves spending time with all her loved ones... so dinner with Papaw was exciting (Nana was with a friend out to town).

Dance Consumed Week

Khloe has been pretty busy... trying to recover from this yucky sinus drainage (that developed in to an ear infection) and getting ready for her upcoming Dance Recital. It seems like we are always at the dance studio lately. Ha! Khloe loves dance so much, though, so it's not like it's a chore.  Today was very humid outside, so Khloe wore a cute, short dress to stay cool. We are pretty sure that we skipped the beautiful Spring season and went straight from Winter to Summer here. Boo.

Last Day of Speech

Khloe had a bitter-sweet day. She had to say goodbye to her speech teacher, Miss Lynzi. Khloe truly enjoyed having her as her speech teacher this year. To say thank you to her teacher, Khloe brought her a box of specialty gourmet desserts... lots of chocolate goodies! She was thrilled when Khloe gave it to her. I don't know if it's harder on Khloe or Mommy saying goodbye to her teachers. Transitions and changes are not our forte! Thank you Miss Lynzi for a great year!

Sunday School Sweetie

Khloe loves Sunday school... especially because her little cousin, Miles, is in her Sunday school class. So, it it her once a week visit with her buddy. Khloe had a pretty relaxing Sunday... even though she wasn't particularly feeling up to par. After church, Khloe headed to brunch with Daddy and Mommy (Bubby was out of town). It was yummy! To complete her action-packed day, she jumped in to her swimsuit and had some fun in the backyard with her Daddy.
