Pre-K Graduation

Khloe was excited about her Pre-K Graduation today! But, first, she had school all day... Then, dance class (to practice their recital dance)... Then, back to school for her Preschool Graduations Ceremony. So so busy, today! She looked so sweet at her Graduation Ceremony! The bad part is that she fell pretty hard when she was walkin up the stairs on the stage, while their little classes were singing their graduation songs. She handled it quite gracefully, though... and not even a whimper. Khloe is such a strong, outgoing little darling! The other mishap was that Khloe began running high fever at her Graduation. So, she went straight home afterwards... and straight to bed! Poor baby girl.

3 Days of PreK Left...

Khloe is thrilled that she is almost officially a "big girl." Meaning... She graduated PreK in three days. She is going to miss her little class buddies so much! <sniff,sniff> Mommy is having a hard time accepting the fact that little Khloe is going to be a big Kindergartener this Fall! Khloe is ready for Summer, though... Time to wind down, which means no speech classes, school or dance (well, just dance camps) this Summer! Yay! Khloe practiced her Preschool Graduation songs today at school.... Graduation is Thursday!! She is such a shining star.

Memorial Day Weekend

Khloe kicked off Memorial Day weekend by spending time with Daddy and Mommy! We slept in a little and spent a quality amount of time outside in the pool... and lounging on the back deck. It really felt like the first day of Summer today. Khloe soaked up some sun rays with Daddy in the back yard. Today was an overall relaxing day for Khloe and the family. Bubby was with their grandparents!

Sissy's Spa Day

Khloe had a free day today! One of her little classes was canceled today, so what better way to spend her free day, than enjoying time at the spa. Khloe chose to only have a pedicure done. She loves having her feet and legs massaged... oh and her little piggies painted! After being primped, we left the spa and headed out to enjoy some treats and shopping. Khloe's little toenails didn't dry right, so we had to go back to the spa and have her toenails redone. Khloe did not mind at all. Normally, she is really good about not messing with her toenail polish, but for some reason today, she was being testy. She scraped off the flowers on her toes before we made it home (AFTER getting them redone... Ugh!!). Stinker!

Bring on Monday

Khloe had a super fun day... There is no better way to start off your week than kick starting it with a great Monday! It finally warmed up and the cold front might possibly be over. Yay! Khloe ran some first of week errands with Mommy and then had a pretty calm day ending. She got to plant flowers in her speech class today (not sure why they didn't work on speech, but what can you do?). She really loves to plant flowers... well, she likes to plant anything that grows! Mommy treated Khloe to ice cream on the Square, after her class. Khloe headed home just in time to see Papaw/Nana (who came over to help Daddy build a privacy fence)... Bubby helped, too! Khloe finished her day by helping Mommy cook Italian food for dinner. Mmm! (Yesterday, Khloe spent her day with her Daddy, Mommy and Bubby... She went fishing and enjoyed her time outside!)

Caps, Gowns & Fishing Poles

Khloe enjoyed her day today... and it was crammed-pack full of important events! She went with Mommy, Daddy and her Bubby to a couple of high school graduation parties (family and friends). There were little kids her age at both parties, so Khloe stayed busy playing with them. Sweet girl shed some tears when we pulled her away from the last graduation party. Awe! After congratulating the graduates and playing her heart out, Khloe went fishing with Daddy, Papaw and Nana. It was her first time to catch a fish... Go Khloe!

Daddy's Diva

Khloe had such a fun Friday! She hung out with Mommy most of the day... Running errands for her upcoming Dance Recital. We grabbed a quick lunch... went for a mini cupcake treat... and then met up with Daddy after we picked up Bubby from school. We went to a little Friday festival in town... it was a little chilly outside. Khloe spent a little family time in a delicious coffee shop in town... running in to several people we knew. Then, Mommy headed out to run Bubby to his Friday night activities, while Khloe enjoyed time with Daddy at a super-fun, hot spot in town! Too much fun for one little girl!!

Jumping Puddles

Khloe missed storytime at the Library today. Boo. However, she had dance class today and it more than made up for it. The girls received their recital costumes in class, today... They are so darling! Khloe loved her Princess Dress. It goes perfect with their recital dance song. Khloe twirled and twirled in it. It is so much more darling than her recital costume last year. It has been raining all day, so Khloe was thrilled to get to wear her rain boots. It only seemed appropriate that Daddy took Khloe, Bubby and Mommy to a waterfall. this evening... it sure was flowing! Then, afterwards, catfish dinner in honor of the rain. Ha!

Observing Nature

Khloe woke up this morning excited about school. She loves school. The first thing she wanted to do when she got out of school was go for a walk. But, instead, we went to the shoe store and bought some sandals for school (super durable ones, we might add). While we were shopping around, Khloe shared her experience at school today. She explained that the metamorphesis of their caterpillars into butterflies was complete. The butterflies that had been cocooned in their cages in her classroom busted out of their cocoons. The kiddos were so excited to free them in to their natural habitat... nature. Khloe really seemed to enjoy this activity! After we picked up Brother from school, we did a little grocery shopping and headed home to wait on Daddy's arrival. Khloe was playing outside (which was rather cooler today), until Daddy pulled up. She jumped him as he walked over to her (with her suit coats and all).

Monday... Already?!

Khloe's weekends seem to fly by... Goodness... It's Monday, again, already! So, what better way to get her week started than to strut her cuteness around town. Khloe had a little class today... AFTER her and Mommy met Daddy for lunch. She was so silly at lunch and kept laughing uncontrollably... Too funny! We, also, ran to her favorite parlor in town for a scoop of her favorite ice cream. She wanted to go by our town's newest hotel and explore some art. Khloe was beyond thrilled to see that one of her favorite Summer hangouts was open, already, for the Summer fun... Hippity-Hip-Hooooray!! Khloe did her "happy dance." We headed home early today, just in time to beat the rain showers that followed us.

Mother's Day Darling

Khloe showered Mommy with handmade gifts these past few days. Some she made at Preschool at some she made in Sunday school. All were super cute! Daddy was away on business trips these last three days... So, Khloe was thrilled to get to spend Mother's Day with Mommy, Daddy and Bubby! She, also, had the privilege of eating lunch with Papaw and Nana, too! It was a good day... Breakfast at Khloe's grandparents' house, Church, Brunch (at one of our favorite restaurants!), outdoor fun back at Papaw/Nana's house and home for some swimming and relaxation. Khloe sure loves her Mommy!

Mommy's Trunk Show

Khloe has been under the weather for the past several days. She went to the see her doctor; her doctor said that she had a sinus infection and prescribed her an antibiotic. Yuck. But, at least the antibiotic is finally kicking... and she is feeling much better today (although, not completely back to normal). She ran fever for several days and has had a horrid cough. Mommy had an MJ Trunk Show today at Khloe's Dance Studio. Several ladies showed up and bought cute clothes for their little darlings. Khloe was pleasantly surprised when Nana showed at at the show (after just getting back from their long trip out of town). Khloe went to their house for a little bit. After Mommy picked her up, we went to meet Grandma in town to pick up Bubby. Lucky girl... she got to see both sets of her grandparents today!
