Tippy Toes & Runny Nose

Khloe woke up feeling pretty groggy. All this air pressure change (from the non-stop storms) and pollen invasion has really made her feel uncomfortable. She had a runny nose and itchy eyes. Khloe was tired most of the day and had a loss of appetite. Spring, so far, has been miserable.... it's unfortunate, because it is supposed to be the most beautiful time of the year. Boo. Khloe is such a strong girl, though. She never lets anything really get her down. She's so spunky and funny... What great characteristics in life! Khloe got to show off her recital dance in dance class, today. The girls have been practicing hard... and their routine is coming along nicely! Daddy left on another business trip (immediately) after returning from his last trip (which is rare). So, Khloe enjoyed dinner with Bubby and Mommy, this evening, at our newest restaurant in town.

Loving Daddy...

Khloe was happy to cuddle with her Daddy, this morning. He got home, last night, from a 4-day business trip. She was beyond thrilled to see Daddy and have him home with her (especially to protect her, Bubby and Mommy from these nasty storms). When Daddy went to work this morning, Khloe ran some early week errands with Mommy and then had a class. After the production of the day, Khloe headed to dinner with Bubby and Mommy (while Daddy caught up on work from his absence). It was yummy. Of course, more storms were headed towards us, so we went home and enjoyed family time (early evening).

Daddy Comes Home

Khloe is excited to see her Daddy... He has been on a business trip since last Thursday. She needs her Daddy kisses... and she will get them when he flies in this evening! Yay, Daddy! Khloe does not like tornadoes or icky weather. She doesn't mind calm storms, but today we are expected a series of terrible storms (with potential twisters) to run through our area. We are prepared, but praying for NO twisters. Ugh! Khloe has been hanging out with Bubby, today... Mommy treated them to some yummy Starbucks treats and a quick lunch. After doing some chores at home, Khloe spent a little time outside (before the storms rolled in).

Love is in the Air

Khloe attended her fourth wedding, today. She is going to be a Pro-Guest! We really wanted to visit the Farmers Market in town, but, of course, a family wedding is certainly more important... Not to mention, Papaw was the entertainment (at the wedding) and Nana did the majority of the decorating. Plus, Papaw and Nana were leaving immediately, after the wedding, for a 10-day trip out of town. Khloe had to say Bye. Khloe and her Bubby looked so snazzy... as usual. Two precious lads! Khloe enjoyed bouncing around at the reception (after sitting so still at the ceremony). She played with her little cousin most of the time. It was a windy day... but perfect temperature.

It's Friday... It's Friday

Khloe had a fun, relaxing day, today. She started off the day hanging out at home watching some of her favorite cartoons and reading her favorite books. It wasn't too long before she had her short class. Then, after class, Mommy took Khloe for a quick lunch at the park. Spending time skipping rocks at the park and playing on the playground equipment. After we picked up Bubby, we headed home and later dove into our favorite restaurant for some yummy dinner. Missing Daddy... He'll be home tomorrow from his business trip.

Ice Cream, Storms & Twirls

Khloe was a happy girl, today. She finished the project in her preschool class (for their Silent Auction at the school). They made a United States flag out of wood and paint and it turned out adorable!! Mommy already placed her bid... and it is going to go for a good price, believe me! Hope we win the bid. Daddy flew out this morning (for a business trip), so we had to fin for ourselves while he was away. Not a hard task. Ha! Mommy stayed busy, while Khloe was in school. We dove in to her favorite Ice Cream Parlor (for a quick scoop of ice cream and we saw Papaw!). Khloe went to pick up brother (with Mommy). Khloe had dance, but after we ran several errands... before enjoying dinner at one of Khloe's favorite restaurants in town. The wind was massive and the storms were stop-and-go most of the day. <sigh> We finished the day in bed... reading several Dr. Suess books (Khloe's favorite... she thinks they are so silly!), before bedtime.

Dogwood Invasion

Khloe was asking Mommy, today, what all the white flower trees were. Mommy explained they were the Dogwood Trees... Mommy's favorite tree! They just so happy to bloom around Easter every year (holding true to the Legend of the Dogwood poem). Khloe was intrigued by the Dogwood story. So, we decided to stop by a batch of Dogwood trees, after her little class, today... just to take some pictures of their beauty (and Khloe's too!). It was a rainy day, so Khloe was excited to wear her new rain boots!

Easter Egg Hunt

Khloe loves competing in Easter Egg Hunts, so she was a happy girl today. She went to our local Easter Egg hunt (put on by our City) with Daddy and Mommy... Nana, also, showed up to watch her dive after those colorful eggs. Every year, Khloe always runs in to fellow classmates/friends at the hunt. This year she saw several of her little friends... Ryan, Mason and more. She proves to be the shortest, as well. Ha! It was a little too hot and dusty outside. She had a brief encounter with the Easter Bunny at the end of her hunt... and then left with her Nana (for some overnight fun)!

Papaw's Birthday Fun

Khloe woke up this morning remembering that it was her Papaw's birthday! She wanted to hurry and get ready to go celebrate his big day. However, we had things to do before dinner. Ha! Khloe recorded a short video and sent it to Papaw (it was her singing 'Happy Birthday' to him). A sure way to brighten his day! Daddy had to drop his car off to get serviced at the dealership, so Mommy took her car to follow him... and we all went to a yummy breakfast at one of our favorite breakfast places in town. It was good. Khloe had a short class today. Then, we surprised Papaw, at his work, with an unexpected visit from Khlow. Ate some ice cream and hung our a little around town. After we picked Bubby up from school, we all headed to dinner for Papaw's big birthday. A new steak house in town... and it was good! We walked around our mall afterwards enjoying the sun shining and special times with Papaw/Nana. It was a great day!

Easter Fun... Pre-K Style!

Khloe had such a fun day today at preschool. Her class had all kinds of activities to do. Not to mention a super fun Easter egg hunt. She is a big fan of holidays! After all the fun (as much as a little girl can handle), she headed to her  dance class for some more fun. The sweet, little girls showed the parents their recital dance and it is coming along nicely!

Storytime & Dance

Khloe loves this day of the week... She gets to dance with her buddies. She has other dance classes throughout the week, but this one is her favorite class! She had a fairly busy day, today. She started off the day heading to Pre-K Storytime at the Library. They read some fun Spring books and had a super fun craft project, afterwards. It's been a long time since Khloe went to storytime at the Library. But, lucky for her, she was able to go today! They made rain clouds and raindrops (out of construction paper, cotton balls, glue and yarn). Khloe did a great job on her cloud craft.... She's so smart! After storytime, we headed to do a little Easter shopping (for her class parties) and then headed on to her dance studio. Overall, she enjoyed this beautiful (yet, WINDY) day!

Another Manic Monday...

Khloe was not a happy girl, today... All because it was insanely cold, windy and gloomy outside. Going from temperatures in the 80's one day... to temperatures in the 30's the next day does not make darling Khloe giddy. Ha! So bazarr. Khloe managed to stay busy today, though. She insisted on a special Starbucks treat, this morning (before her little class). Then, she had class... and after class did a little retail therapy with Mommy. We picked up Bubby and headed to the grocery store. Khloe was thrilled to get some goodies in the mail today... Happy dance!

It's Friday... HOORAY!

Khloe had a fun, calm day, today. She really enjoys Fridays... It's the end of the week and she looks forward to her weekends (because Daddy is home from work and Bubby is home from school)! Khloe went shopping with Mommy, today. She found an adorable new swimsuit (pink and lace) and a fun beach bag, for this Summer. Mommy promised sweet Khloe that if she was a good girl, today, then she would get to go to Chuck E. Cheese's for some fun. And, of course, she was a good girl... So, off we went! She spent most of her tokens in the first 15 minutes there. Ha! She loves all the riding games. Not long after we got home, she fell asleep - and woke up in time to meet Daddy and Bubby at one of our local parks to explore all the new blooming trees/flowers. (It was rather hot outside, today.)

Pollen's Fallen...

Khloe was little Miss Sneezy today. Pollen is pretty thick in the air right now... all the beautiful flowers/trees are blooming. It's beautiful, but miserable for those that suffer with allergies. Khloe had bold, red circles under her eyes today... because of the pollen. <sigh> Again, nothing ever brings this little girl down. Khloe had another action-packed day... keeping busy with many fun things. She had a meeting (with Mommy) at her school (discussing Kindergarten and where she is). She, also, enjoyed seeing her dance buddies in dance today. She completed her day with some fun at the park and enjoying the beautiful Spring Sunsets.

Khloe welcomed the new week with open arms. Today, she played "catch up" on a class that she missed last week. She, also, caught up on fun at the park, because she missed several days last week, because of the nasty storms. Even though it was a little chilly today, she still played her little heart out! We ran some other errands, too, and headed to the grocery store tonight with Daddy and Brother. It started raining early evening, so Khloe called it a day.

Fun Sabbath Day

Khloe was excited to see Miles and Asher at Sunday School today! She really loves our church... and enjoys being around her family and friends. Today, Khloe was wound up after church... not sure what they fed them in Sunday school (maybe a cup of sugar??). Ha! So, Daddy took Khloe, Mommy and Bubby to eat at one of our favorite hideouts in town for brunch. After we ate, Daddy took Khloe and Bubby to a local outdoors store (hints the camo clothing in the picture below!), while Mommy did a little shopping of her own. Khloe enjoyed watching the fish in the tank and was fixated on the Bass eating the smaller fish. Khloe went on to have an even bigger surprise... she met Papaw/Nana in town and got to go home with them!

Friday... Nuff Said

Khloe was happy the nasty storms didn't cause any damage last night. She was mesmerized by the beautiful, double rainbows just above our home during the storm, instead of nasty tornadoes. God's Promise, indeed! However, the storm front left behind rather cooler, chilly temperatures. It was cold today... after being 81 degrees, yesterday. So strange... We can't recall a Spring starting off this way - EVER!  Khloe had an eventful day, today. She was thrilled to visit her cousins (who are her age). She, also, enjoyed a dinner (benefiting one of our local clubs) with Daddy, Mommy and Brother.

Testy & Twirly

Khloe had some speech testing done through our University for speech. She did such a great job and is heading in the right direction for being on target for speaking perfectly for Kindergarten! Good girl! Hard work pays off... always a good rule of thumb. The doctor really enjoyed working with Khloe today... she was so sassy and silly. After her appointment, we stopped by a dance wear store and bought some new, fun dance clothes (with matching dolly clothes!). We hurried along, just in time to pick up a quick lunch and then changing for dance class. Khloe had a great day... and played with her friends for a while after dance class. When Khloe headed home, Daddy surprised her with a trip to the park to fly kites and play miniature golf. What a funtastic way to finish her day!

It's April - No Fools!

Khloe started her day today with Spring Pictures at Preschool. She has to be pictured out. Ha! She was so tired when she woke up this morning... she slept in her carseat all the way to school. Sleepy head. But, she was wide awake once she got to school. Today, was a strange day. Mommy had to pick up Bubby from school because of some early dismissal (due to April Fools Day prank). So, we ran errands (getting Bubby's haircut and treating Khloe to ice cream). I'll be darned if Khloe did not fall asleep on the way home, too. These allergens are taking a toll on sweet Khloe.
