New Year's Eve with a Stylish 5-Year Old

Khloe couldn't wait for the big New Year's Eve Party this year!! She is a year older and all her friends are growing up right along with her. She had entirely too much fun running around with all the little girls her age at our friends' (the Leith's) Annual New Year's Eve Bash. There were lit up balloons (everywhere!!), disco lights and laser lights all over, a fog machine and so much more. She did not want to leave the party... but, Papaw and Nana came to pick her up (so she didn't have to stay awake till 1:30am with Mommy, Daddy and Bubby. So sweet of her grandparents! This has been a great year for Khloe and 2015 is sure to be an even better year for the sweet girl!

Countdown to New Years

Khloe is ready for a New Year... Mommy, however, is not ready for her baby girl to be another year older. :'( Khloe's attire is already laid out and waiting to be worn... It's the cutest sparkly dress and rhinestone tights... She is going to play the part for sure! Today, she just hung out with Mommy and Bubby. She played with her Christmas presents (she is loving all her frozen stuff and new Light up Tee Pee... Oh and her American Girl look-alike doll and her Go-Go Dog. She was happy to get the gifts she asked for! And she was passionate about her Christmas list this year. Ha! Khloe just laid low today and didn't dress up, because we were enjoying some down time at home (which doesn't happen often).

It's Christmas... Santa made it!!

Khloe woke up and wanted to run in to the living room to see what Santa left her under our Christmas tree! Mommy and Daddy, literally, had to hold her back from running straight to the tree (until we could get our cameras ready)!! Santa was very good to little missy this year. All she wanted was Frozen items and she got mostly Frozen items. Singing Elsa, Ice Skating Anna, Frozen Vanity, Frozen electric scooter.... and plenty more Frozen items. Perhaps her favorite gift was a video personalized to Khloe from Elsa... She couldn't believe her eyes and ears when she saw the video of Elsa talking to her and telling her all about her blog, her horse and her brother. Elsa even shared with Khloe that she would see her at Disney World soon!! So exciting! After opening gifts at home, Khloe went to her Papaw/Nana's house for lunch and to open more gifts. Nana gave Khloe the most beautiful quilt that she made her... she has worked on this beautiful quilt since before she was born. All hand stitched and the most beautiful quilt on earth! Such an heirloom for one lucky little girl. She, also, got many more precious gifts from her grandparents!

Christmas Party in Ballet Class

Khloe went to her second dance party today... This one, though, was for her ballet class. These little girls have been dancing with her for 3 years now and are like her sisters. Khloe just loves them! It was another fun day... she got to wear some of her favorite pajamas again to dance and then had a snack party, afterwards. Mommy was still home under the weather, so Daddy took Khloe to her dance party today. There is far too much fun to be had in December...

Christmas Party in Jazz Class

Khloe loves having parties in dance class... Today was her Christmas pajama party in her Jazz class. She had so much fun (Mommy didn't get to be there, because she was home sick in bed), but Nana took her to dance for Mommy. Khloe couldn't ask for a better group of girls to dance with. She is right at home - as always!

Khloe's Christmas Performance

Khloe was excited to show her family her little Pre-K performance at her school. Khloe is definitely not bashful, by any means. She loves to sing... pretty sure it runs in her blood (considering her dad's side of the family are all musical). Mommy would have been so shy to sing in front of a group of people like that. LOL Papaw and Nana came, too... Khloe was a happy girl! It was a short (but ADORABLE) performance. Afterwards, we at in the gym and got to visit Santa in the lobby! Such a fun night! We love her school!!

Christmas Party in Pre-K

Khloe had a great time today at school. It was their Christmas party and they were given goodies, treats and pizza today. Such fun times when you are little. Khloe has had a bit of a tough time going to school this past week... for some reason there is a little mean girl in her class that doesn't want Khloe to play with her friends, so it has really upset sweet Khloe. She has cried in the mornings, expressing her frustration with this little girl. Mommy pulled her teachers aside this week and explained to them what was going on... didn't help that Khloe has not been feeling well. They told Khloe that they did not allow students to be mean in their class and for her to let them know. Can't believe this craziness starts in Pre-K! :( Mommy, also, took Khloe to the doctor earlier this week to figure out what was going on and why she was having a hard time sleeping. She has the crud and her ears are infected... antibiotic it was! Sweet girl... On a side note, sweet Khloe is super excited for Santa's arrival next week! She can hardly wait! And, her elf, Holly, is being so precious and stylish lately... she has had all sorts of outfit changes.

Sicky Sissy

Khloe started off the day feeling great! Not sure when it turned around, but after Mommy took Khloe to Storytime at the Library, she started feeling not-so-good. When we got out to our car, she leaned over and threw up phlegm all in Mommy's hands (hey, what are Moms for?). She, also, kept holding her right ear. When I looked in her ear, her entire ear opening was clogged completely up with a thick amount of wax. There are so many little viruses going around today... Not sure what she caught, but she didn't have fever, so we'll wait it out. Poor baby girl! She slept the majority of the day. By nighttime, though, she was feeling better, so her Nana came to our house and picked her up. There was a special surprise in our town square that she did not want to miss (sick or not... even though she missed dance class today).... Elsa and Anna were in town!!

One Year Post-Surgery Princess

Khloe didn't go to school, today. She still was not 100% better, but she did feel oodles better! She hung out with Mommy today... reading books, doing puzzles and playing other games. Just a casual day. However, today, was her annual hearing/speech testing with the ACH team after her surgery last Fall (2013). She had a little fluid in her ears today, from sinus drainage, so the testing wasn't fun. But, she passed her hearing testing just fine (as always) and her speech pathologist in the VPI Cleft Division was thrilled and astonished by how much her nasality improved and speech was night/day difference. They didn't have any concerns at all... This little girl is doing fantastic and should be almost perfect in speech in another year or two at most! This is good news; she has been through so much in the past few years (due to he speech and oral issues). Khloe is a trooper!

Mommy's Sassy Side-Kick

Khloe was quite the helper today. She was glued to Mommy's side. She wanted to help unload the dishwasher and reload it. She wanted to help peel boiled eggs (for her breakfast). Khloe tried to fold some towels with Mommy... she did fairly well (considering her age). Good job for being such a big helper, today, Khloe girl! Khloe wanted Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets for dinner... so Mommy got them for her (besides she earned them!). Khloe had one little class today and the rest of the day she played and ran errands with Mommy.

Daddy's Away... Let the Kitty Cat Play

Khloe hung out with Mommy and Bubby all weekend. Daddy was away exploring new territories (hiking) with a couple of his pals. He loves the outdoors and loves an opportunity to explore unexplored, new areas! It was a fairly pretty weekend... weather-wise... a tad too cold at night, though. Khloe got to hang out with her Papaw/Nana for a little bit today. She played on her new playset and fed her horse... oh, and Khloe's little friends came over and roasted marshmallows (and played, too). She had a super fun and busy day!

Visiting Santa Claus...

Khloe wanted to visit Santa, today. She could not wait a day longer. She was so excited to present him with her Christmas list... that she worked so hard on. Khloe went to our local mall and saw him... and there wasn't even a line! She read each thing on her list to Santa... basically sharing with him that she wanted everything "Frozen" for Christmas this year! Her Elf on the Shelf, Holly, made her big debut a few days ago... and delivered one (of many) of Khloe's Christmas lists to Santa, too, on her arrival to the North Pole one night. :) Holly has been quite the stylish Elf this holiday season... having several changes of clothes this year... making Khloe a happy, little girl! Khloe jumped right up on Santa's lap and talked to him... Christmas is a very big deal to her this year... she can hardly control her excitement! Oh the joys and magic of being little....

Khloe wanted to pick out her own clothes for school today. She did a pretty great job! Of course, after school, she added some adorable accessories to it... to style it up! Model or Fashion Designer... either career is fine with Mommy! <hoping> Khloe had dance shortly after this picture was taken, so we had to hurry and play outside. Khloe wanted to work on writing her letters today after school. She is trying to perfect her handwriting (before she starts Kindergarten next year). Sweet baby girl!

Starting off December Right

Khloe is crazy about Christmas this year... She cannot believe that it is already December 1st! She has made her Christmas list at least a dozen times... still waiting to see the big guy himself (Santa Claus). She has big plans to tell him her about her entire list... and it is rather lengthy. Ha! Khloe, also, had a pleasant surprise today... Her Elf on the Shelf (Holly) came home for the holidays. She made her big debut this morning and Khloe was ecstatic. Holly left a sweet, tiny note for Khloe. this morning... Holly even brought Khloe a special gift from the North Pole on her first visit back home (a cute Christmas pajamas set!). Khloe's Elf, Holly, was even styling today... she debuted in a lavish white tutu shirt. So pretty! Last, but not least, Khloe was excited to get to celebrate her Bubby's Birthday this evening with her family at Shogun... She liked the flame show, too.

Vitamin E Queen

Khloe just wanted to stay at home and get well, today. That is exactly what we did. Mommy was a bit under the weather, too. Khloe always turns in to a cranky, little monster when she is not feeling well. Nothing... nothing at all... makes her happy. Can't wait for a full recovery. Ha! She did not even want to take a picture, but cranky face and all we got one. Even after she decided to get in to the vitamin E oil and put it all over her face, arms, hair and clothes. Little stinker.

Miss Sniffles

Khloe has had a yucky, little cold the past couple of days. When she is not feeling 100% she tends to be a little cranky... and nothing pleases her. Ha! So, today, Khloe had lunch today with Daddy, Mommy and Bubby at one of her favorite restaurants. Afterwards, Khloe went with Mommy to take Bubby to get his first picture id card and then to his friend's house. (We ran in to our friend, Charles, at the Revenue Office!) After making a quick stop at the coffee shop for coffee and treats, we headed home to work on Thanksgiving projects and make Christmas lists for Santa.

Photo Session & Elsa Kind-of-Day

Khloe had an unbelievably action-packed Saturday. First, Target was having an special Frozen event for two hours only, this morning. They had an Arendelle backdrop set up and were giving out goody bags to any child who showed up dressed as Elsa or Anna. Mommy took advantage of this event, because Miss Khloe had just gotten a new Elsa Dress at the Boutique Fair and needed her picture taken in it. Next, we rushed home to change in to Christmas attire for their Christmas photoshoot with our photographer. Immediately after pictures, we rushed to Khloe's little friend, Audrey's, Frozen Birthday party (allowing her to wear her Elsa dress, again). To top it all off, it poured down rain ALL day... As I've said before.... Khloe NEVER let's it rain on her parade - the party must go on! Ha!

A Surprise Family Birthday Party

Khloe couldn't wait to see her little cousins (Miles and Asher) at their Mommy's Surprise 30th Birthday party this evening. She just loves them and has so much fun with them! Khloe even skipped dance class today to get ready for the party. Mommy, Daddy and Khloe met up with Papaw/Nana to go out to the party. Khloe loves it when everyone gets together. She played her little heart out with her cousins at the party... they played board games, watched movies and jumped on the bed upstairs. Ha! She was completely worn out... and fell asleep as soon as her little, sweet head hit the pillow.

Country Girl at Cabin

Khloe had such a fun weekend with her family (and grandparents) at a Cabin that Daddy rented for the weekend. She enjoyed all the yummy food, games, movies, parktime, hiking and collecting leaves. She would live outside if she was allowed to. Ha! She wasn't too impressed with the animal skins on the walls... she was most bothered by the zebra skin/fur. She didn't think that was very nice at all! She had a great time and didn't want the weekend to end. It was really cold outside and Khloe hates coats/jackets, so she wasn't thrilled having to layer up to go outside. On our way home from the Cabin, it snowed... SNOWED!?! We can't remember the last time it snowed this heavy in November... mid-November at that. Khloe was so excited... Do you want to Build a Snowman?? What happened to Fall??!

Little Horsie Gets Out

Khloe had a short speech class today. She ran a few errands with Mommy today... until we were on our way to take Bubby lunch to school. We got a phone call from Papaw asking if we were in town and could run by their house, because Khloe's little horse got out of the fence and was roaming the roads. Papaw and Nana were out of town picking out some new appliances for the exterior of their home.... he asked us if we could run by their house and lure Khloe's horse back into the fence. We went straight over there... and he was going a stinker... kept dodging us. Ugh. But, Papaw/Nana were there by then and Khloe helped them by luring him with grain. What a brat. Ha! He made it back in safely, though. It was an eventful day for Khloe!

Little Stinker

Khloe was not in the best mood today. For the first time in that Mommy can remember, she didn't want to pose for a picture (and actually told me "no"). The problem is that she is so tired because of the time change... Little Khloe is not liking this adjustment. Until we started playing outside (at sunset), Khloe was a great sidekick today. Khloe will be back on track really soon... she's still as cute as ever! She sure loved on her Bubby today... so sweet!

Sleepy Sweetie

Khloe is not (in the slightest bit) excited about Daylight Savings Time ending. Getting dark early (WAY TOO early) is causing little Missy to be extra sleepy too early. Plus, it also means less time for Khloe to play outside. Boo. We are trying to think of the advantages of Daylight Savings ending and the only positive thing is that we are home early... meaning, more quality family time (and more night time snuggles for Mommy and Daddy). Yay! So, today, Khloe focused on her limited outdoor fun... but she made the most of it. Khloe and Mommy played at our local park for several hours... Khloe met a sweet black cat who she named, Precious. Too cute! We played around with the camera (lighting and leaves). It was a good day!

Bee-you-tiful Halloween

Khloe couldn't contain her excitement today. She was so happy to begin her day. First, she enjoyed some fun with Bubby and Mommy (Daddy was away again on an outdoor adventure). After early Halloween fun, Khloe met up with Grandma and Aunt Jen (along with Mommy and Bubby) for lunch at Olive Garden. Mmm!! After lunch, we took some quick pictures, grabbed a coffee and headed home to get ready for her Trick-or-Treating fun. She couldn't wait to go Trick-or-Treating in Papaw/Nana's neighborhood again this year. She has a best buddy in the neighborhood... along with other sweet little girls that she's friends with.

All Kinds of Fall Fun

Khloe had so much fun today in dance. They enjoyed a Halloween party in their class after all their dancing. Khloe has several little buddies in her dance class. Besides her dance party, today, she also had fun with her school class... They went to the pumpkin patch and picked out their very own pumpkin to decorate in class. It was a gorgeous day... weather-wise. This little girl is loving Fall!!

Hitting the Town - Daddy Style

Khloe wanted to go with Daddy (and Mommy) to an event about 35 minutes away from our house. So, while Daddy was at a private, business event, Khloe and Mommy went to a cute little spot in town to take some pictures with the beautiful, colorful tree leaves. There was a real castle and beautiful trees surrounding it. So much fun for one little girl. Khloe, also, had time to go enjoy a yummy dinner at her favorite restaurant, afterwards.

Foliage Love

Khloe is mesmerized by the Fall Foliage. It is really turning in to a beauty scene. The trees are all sorts of yellows, reds and oranges. Foliage was late this year, but so happy it's in full change mode now! Gorgeous! With the beautiful trees' leaves and the perfect temperatures outside, Khloe spent the majority of her time outside. How lucky she is to get to experience all four seasons in our home state. Khloe went to Target with Mommy, today, and started making her Christmas list for Santa. She wanted Mommy to take pictures of her by all the fun toys she wanted for Christmas. So fun!

Adorable Side-Kick

Khloe loves nothing more than to spend time with her family. This particular Wednesday, she only had one obligation - dance class. So basically, it was a free/fun day to spend with her Mommy. Always such a good side-kick to her Mommy. We shopped around a little... finding the perfect Pumpkin Patch outfit (at Gymboree!) and had a delicious lunch. It was a beautiful day all around (the weather couldn't have been more perfect). Khloe was extra excited today, because all the leaves on the trees are FINALLY starting to change colors... oh, how we LOVE Fall Foliage (better late than never)!

Awaiting Daddy

Khloe couldn't wait to see her daddy today! He was gone on a weekend boys trip hiking/camping a few hours from our home. He is a Fall junky... absorbing every second of this beautiful Fall weather! So, in the meantime, Khloe spent the day shopping around town with Mommy and Bubby... enjoying lunch at her favorite Mexican dive in... spending time outside at the Craft  Fairs (she got her face painted - a lovely unicorn!)... and then meeting Daddy, Papaw and Nana at the steakhouse for dinner. Action-packed, indeed. Khloe even pointed out some things she would like for Santa to bring her for Christmas this year. Her mind is always working in overtime.

Arts & Crafting Chic

Khloe had fun prancing around town with Mommy and Bubby, today. Daddy went on a weekend hiking/camping trip in the wilderness with a couple friends, so we were on our own. Mommy helped Nana all weekend with her booth at the Craft Fairs. Khloe did a little shopping, too. Ha! We ran in to several of our friends with came to see us at the fairs. Bubby spent part of the evening with his buddies... while Khloe got to go to her grandparents' home with her Papaw (to feed the horses and hang out till Mommy came to get her). The weather this weekend was absolutely beautiful! We were so blessed to have such perfect weather.

A Little Speech

Khloe just had one little class today. It was a short speech class... Other than that, she enjoyed the day with Mommy. She was such a little trooper/angel when Mommy and Bubby had their dental cleanings at our dentist's office. She sat in the lobby talking to our friends that work there and playing extra mind-boggling games. Such a little grown up! Afterwards, we met Daddy for an early dinner at one of our favorite restaurants with the BEST Happy Hour in town. Yummo! After, we headed to one of the Arts/Crafts Festivals in town and helped Nana set up for her big event. It was a long night, but fun was had.

Picture Day at School

Khloe was excited about school today. Today, her school had picture day. Khloe really wanted to wear something soft today. It is rather cold outside, right now, so we had to wear long sleeved tops/pants. She still looked super cute with her headband curls. After school, Mommy treated Khloe to a Cherry Limeade (Sonic's Happy Hour) and then we headed on to dance class. Khloe had a wonderful day and is excited about our family pictures this weekend.

Insane Rain

Khloe is not thrilled about this non-stop rain we've been having. Goodness... Rain, rain... go away! When it's not raining it's dark because of extreme overcast and low clouds. And, we're about to lose an hour of daylight (when Daylight Savings ends)... Fall is beautiful, but Khloe is not excited about the lack of daylight. She had one little class today (speech) and then came home to enjoy reading, writing, counting, adding/subtracting and puzzle solving with Mommy. Although, Mommy and Daddy decided to put her back in Pre-K (because of how little she was compared to the other kiddos), this year, doesn't mean that she is not going to continue to advance on an extremely high level of academics this year. Learning... learning... learning... that's what we do and what she loves to do!

Dancing & Dining w/Daddy

Khloe enjoyed a relaxing day at home for most of the day. Closer to evening, she went to her ballet class. She played duck-duck-goose with several of her closest pals before dance class began. It was cute and showed their innocence. Can we please freeze time?! This particular dance class is Khloe's favorite... The same group of little girls that she has been dancing with for 3 years now (the majority of their lives, already). Each one with their own unique personality. After a fun day of dance, Daddy treated Khloe, Bubby and Mommy to a delicious dinner out of the house. But, before the day was over, we had to do a little grocery shopping... not Mommy's favorite pass time.

Puzzle Time

Khloe is absolutely obsessed with her Melissa & Doug Puzzles. She got a couple new ones this past week... and loves the Princess castle one. It is somewhat tough, but she can get it done in about 15 minutes. Brainiac! Today, for school, she wanted to wear her hair up in pigtails... so, when we got to school, Mommy stopped in the hallway before her class and put her hair in pigtails. Khloe is really starting to develop her own style and interests... and Mommy loves it! Khloe had dance class today. She loves her class. Daddy had a business meeting early this evening, so Khloe, Bubby and Mommy at a quick dinner at one of our favorite dine-ins in town.

Daddy's Home - Yay!

Khloe was one happy girl today, because her Daddy finally got home (after being gone 12 days for such an amazing competition for missing children... The Fireball Run. He was a competitor this year and we are so proud of what he accomplished. He took almost two weeks off of work and away from his family to help in the search for missing children... while competing in a funtastic event! Yay, Daddy!!! Before Daddy got home, Khloe had a little class and hung out with Mommy the rest of the day... awaiting Daddy's arrival! When Daddy got home she wanted him to blow on her belly and wrestle with her. Awe!

Bubby's Homecoming Dance

Khloe wanted to participate (so badly) in her Bubby's big day, today.  Today was Bubby's Homecoming. Khloe ran around town with Mommy and Bubby, today, getting things together for her brother's homecoming dance. Khloe wanted to be in their pictures... then, she wanted to go with them to their dinner... then, she wanted to go to the high school dance to watch them dance. Ha! The only thing she was able to participate in was the pictures... because Mommy was the photographer. She was able to jump in a few of the pictures. She was so precious today. Mommy loves her girl that loves pictures and fashion!

Hanging with Nana

Khloe was able to hang out with her Nana today, while Mommy taught Kindergarten. She loves to spend time at her grandparent's house... not just because she loves them so, but because she gets to see her horse, too! Besides, he's her only pet. Daddy was still away today, so when Mommy picked her up, we enjoyed some one on one time. We grabbed some food, after dropping Bubby off at his school football game. Overall, it was a pretty calm day... nothing major to discuss. ;)

Daddy's 'Fireball Run' Rally

Khloe was happy to get to see her Daddy today. His challenge clue/stop in our area was today. He has been gone for 8 days... She really has been missing him. The race is over on Sunday and he will be home. He competed in the Fireball Run, which is an event (to the Amazing Race) where their goal is to get the word out and locate missing children around the areas competing. In the past many years of this event, they have located 40 missing children (due to this amazing event). We are so proud of him and proud that he represented out state in this challenge. Khloe was there to rally him on as they made their entrance in to our city.

Little Horse Whisperer

Khloe was excited to get to hang out with her horse today... and Papaw's horse, too! She is such a little cowgirl at heart! I swear it runs in Daddy's family blood line (the love for horses)... I think they were all born in the wrong generation. Khloe didn't even waste a second of time (when she got to her grandparents house) to greet the horses and run after them... and feed them grain. She was supposed to change out of her good clothes, but couldn't bare wasting any time to get to them! :)

Sentimental Photo Shoot Day

Khloe headed out of town today. She was privileged to get to do an amazing photo shoot with a highly respectable photographer in another state. The photographs were for Mommy and Daddy. Mommy has been holding on to her wedding dress in Miss Khloe's closet since before she was born and took over the closet. Mommy decided to have Khloe's pictures done professionally in her wedding dress while she is little, just in case she decided NOT to wear the actual dress at Khloe's very own wedding in the far future. Plus, how adorable to have your precious daughter (at the age of 5) be able to wear her Mommy's wedding dress (clipped in the back, of course) for keepsake pictures. So this session is a win/win for all involved! If Khloe does opt not to wear her Mommy's dress at her wedding, then at least the picture of her in the dress can be sat on an easel and displayed at the wedding (that way she is still wearing her Mommy's dress at her wedding! Ha! So special!! Khloe was only out of state for the entire day on Sunday... we then headed home at dark (after dinner).

Go Away Ragweed...

Khloe was in a great mood and felt great until about 5pm today. She started running high fever... Pretty sure it's another ear infection due to drainage from her allergies (primarily ragweed). Ugh. Just GO AWAY already you nasty ragweed. Khloe has a special obligation this weekend that she doesn't need to be sick for. Today, Khloe spent the day playing outside... taking in the gorgeous weather. She had one short class today, but the rest of her day was free play. She went to her grandparents' home and helped them with their yard sale... well, mainly making friends with all the little kids that came to browse with their mommys. Nonetheless, it was a huge help. She had to show all the kids her horse!

Grandpa's Birthday Cutie

Khloe and Mommy spent time outside today. These are some of the last days of summer-like weather... Today is the 2nd day of Fall. Today is also Khloe's Grandpa's birthday. So, to celebrate his birthday, Khloe got together with the rest of Mommy's side of her family for dinner at Olive Garden. She loves Olive Garden's soups. Mmm.... Today, she enjoyed her dance class, too. She is such a girly girl... but loves to make people laugh, too. Little sweetie!

Kickin' off the Week in Style

Khloe is really annoyed by all the pollen in the air. She is starting to come down with a sore throat and achy ears... again. It is no fun having allergies. But, Khloe never lets it weigh her down. She still has fun, even when she isn't 100%. Today is her Nana's birthday, too... So she wants to take her cupcakes and kisses early this evening. So sweet!! The weather is perfect, today... Sun shining and breezy. What more can you ask for?!

Humidity & Happiness

Khloe enjoyed her "day off" today. She really wanted to just relax with Mommy and do some of her favorite things today. Her first stop was her favorite tea/cupcake shop. She loves their mini cupcakes and peach green tea. Mmm!! After this special treat, Khloe chose to go play at one of her favorite parks in town... and, she didn't care that the humidity was out of control. Wow... was it sticky and stuffy outside. Khloe still had a super fun time, though. Miss Little Outdoor Princess! She was also in for a super surprise... She had no idea that she was going to spend several hours this evening with her Papaw/Nana and her horse (while Daddy and Mommy attended a Benefit Dinner). Yay!

Back to Speech

Khloe's first day back to speech class was today. This is her fourth year of speech. Hopefully, this year will be her last.  Khloe had a busy weekend. She attended a wedding, rode her horse and spent some time with her Papaw/Nana. Also, she enjoyed spending time with a good friend of ours (who was in town briefly). It was a chilly weekend with little sunshine. Khloe, also, picked out her Halloween costume for this year. It is super cute!

Fall is in the Air

Khloe really wants to spend as much time as possible outside, right now. She loves Fall weather. So, today, we took our lunch to a local/private park (having to eat quickly, though, because bees kept trying to attack our food). The flowers were beautiful, even with the overcast. Khloe loves her days off... and spending time with her Mommy! She is feeling much better... after her round of antibiotics (for her infected throat). Daddy's friend is coming to town to spend several days at our house. It is going to be a super busy weekend for Khloe... parties, a wedding and more. She is excited about spending a couple of days with her Papaw/Nana!

Birthday Party & Movie Night

Khloe had an exciting day full of adventures! She couldn't wait for her day to begin. Khloe's first event to kick-start her day was her friend, Reagan's, birthday party. The birthday party was at a gym in our town... the kids had so many fun activities during the party. There were several kids there and Khloe "clicked" with one little girl... they held hands often during the party (so cute!!). After Reagan's party was over, we (Khloe, Bubby and Mommy) headed home to meet Daddy. Khloe then had a "family movie night" at our town square to enjoy with her family. It was a little chilly outside, so Khloe had to layer up before heading in to town. At the movie, there was a little boy that Khloe made friends with... they played together the entire time... and were the same age. He tried to give her his toy airplane at the end of the night. Just precious!

A Day with Mommy

Khloe was excited to have her Friday off... and spend the entire day with Mommy! We ran some errands today, but not too many. Mainly just enjoyed time together. It was a fairly busy day, though. Khloe wanted to eat at one of her favorite Italian restaurants for lunch. And, since she was a good girl, Mommy took her there. Afterwards, we picked up Bubby from school and took him to his school football game. Then, we met Daddy at our Town Square for an event hosted each month. It was warm, today. We met Papaw and Nana at the event and ate dinner on the Square. Such a busy, but fun day... Khloe saw the same clown on the Square that was at her birthday party. He made her a balloon pet.
