Mommy's Sidekick

Khloe has been such a good girl and great sidekick (to Mommy), today. Mommy was reminded today, that she is not going to stay little forever... and she is growing up far too fast. It makes Mommy so sad. This is the very reason she gets to dress up and play every day. She is Mommy and Daddy's last baby, so her toddler years will be spontaneous and fun every day! We do not want to rush her growing up in any way, shape or form! Khloe had a really eventful day today. She got to do a little boutique shopping with Mommy (after a little class of hers), grab and go lunch, visiting with grandma and then finishing her day off by getting to sleep over at Papaw and Nana's house... and she even got to see her great grandma (Mamaw) when she arrived at her grandparents' house! What a happy, happy girl!

Whirling & Twirling

Khloe was so happy to see her dance buddies in ballet class today. She enjoys spending time with all the girls! Once again, she had to go to the ice cream parlor (since it's right around the corner from her dance studio). She chose cookies & cream today. Mmm!! A girl with good taste... what do you expect? She wanted to go to the park, today, but we had too many errands to run to go. So, she was a little disappointed. Daddy made plans to ride bikes with a friend in town, so us girls grabbed dinner (Khloe's choice, of course) at Olive Garden. Shortly after, we picked up Bubby from football practice.

Hip Hop Tuesday

Khloe was really excited to get to go to her second Hip Hop class today. She loves this upbeat dance class... so fun!! She is making new friends in this dance class... and really enjoys her teacher! She really wanted to see her Papaw, afterwards, so we stayed in the Square and headed to the ice cream parlor, after class. He was not working in the Square today, so Khloe indulged in her ice cream, anyway. LOL Khloe and Mommy enjoyed lunch in the Square, too. Khloe did a little shopping and went to Bubby's school (with Mommy), after all the afternoon excitement.

Let's Get this Week Started...

Khloe had a wonderful weekend... She experienced all sorts of fun. She went fishing and saw Smurfs 2 in the theater with Daddy, park and other fun time with Papaw/Nana and a little bit of everything with Mommy. LOL The most exciting part of it all, though, was Khloe getting her surprise from Daddy on Sunday... her big girl princess bicycle. She was surprised with it when we picked her up at the Square (after spending the night with Papaw/Nana). Khloe enjoyed a day of fun with Mommy, today, too. She ran some errands with Mommy and then we went to Target to pick out her big girl helmet to go with her new bicycle. She rode it around the square... without any help, of course. A PRO at heart! :) Khloe's poor arm leg is swollen because of mosquito bites (which she is extremely allergic to)... you can tell in the picture. It's her right leg.

Bringing on Saturday

Khloe woke up today and the first thing she "reminded" Daddy and Mommy about was the movie Smurfs. She has been wanting to watch it, for a few weeks now. She is so excited that Daddy is taking her on a Daddy/Daughter date to go watch the Smurfs matinee movie! She loves going to the BIG theater (aka movie theater). She, also, has more fun up her sleeve today... she is going to get a new bicycle (her size) today with Daddy AND she is going to go watch Bubby play his first HS football game. Go Bubby! She even gets to spend time with Papaw/Nana, today... she's a busy girl.

Friday - Woot, Woot !

Thank goodness it is the last day of the week... This week has been super busy and exhausting. Khloe never complains, though. She is a girl on a mission... always! She is super excited about this weekend. She gets to watch her Bubby play at his first high school football game. Go Bubby! And, she gets to spend some fun time with Daddy... and her grandparents. Yay! Khloe has already, this morning, been super busy. We took Daddy to pick up his H2 (he had to have it serviced). Then, she had a morning playdate with Mommy... and the rest of the day is free range... no classes, just loads of fun hanging out with her BFF (Mommy).

Oodles of Fun

Khloe had a little class today. She really wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese for some inside fun... since the weather has been humid and hot this week. Daddy came home for lunch and she begged him to take her. He couldn't because he had commitments today. However, Mommy promised if she was a good girl today, then I would take her for a quick trip to Chuck E Cheese (even though Mommy doesn't like all the germs there!). After her early afternoon class, we made a quick (and fun!) trip to Chuck E Cheese. Luckily, there was only one or two other kids there, so not many germs. LOL

Dance Buddies Reunited

Khloe had another day of dance today... her second year of ballet/tap. Khloe could hardly believe that all her little dance friends from last year were in her class again this year... almost every single one of them! The crazy part is that they all changed days for this year's class... and they all ended up in the SAME class again! What is the odds??! Khloe wasn't complaining... she was beyond thrilled to see all her friends, again... and to start a new dance year with all the girls. Yay! Afterwards, we walked around the corner for some ice cream (at the local ice cream parlor), before heading home. So much fun!

1st Day of Jazz/Hip Hop Class

Khloe has been waiting for her new dance class - Jazz/ Hip Hop! She loves to dance to the beats of the current music, so this upbeat dance class is perfect for her! She already takes Ballet and Tap, but what's two more styles of dance classes. She loves to dance... and had so much fun in her newest class this year. She has a different dance teacher for this particular class. Her brother started school today, too... High School! Too many firsts today! After dance class, Khloe went with Mommy to lunch and her favorite cupcake shop (with miniature cupcakes... bite-sized yumminess!). Then, a day of errands and park time followed.

Back to Fall Schedule

Khloe was excited, because this week is the week that everything goes back to normal... and Summer Break is officially over. Dance classes start this week... other classes through schools for her... and several other extracurricular activities. Seems back to normal, if you will. :) Khloe is a happy camper, because she is thrilled to see all her friends (that she missed so much), again, from dance class. Yay!

Lunch with Daddy

Khloe was thrilled to get to eat lunch with her Daddy, today! He took her out for chicken at a new diner in town. It was a relaxing lunch. Afterwards, she had a short class. She really wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather outside (finally, no rain). So, she asked to go to her favorite park in town. Mommy was happy to take her and play with her. Khloe's heart belongs to the outdoors (so much like her Daddy). She was a little monkey at the park... climbing all the harder obstacles and monkey bars. This girly girl can keep up with the best of them! She is heading to Papaw and Nana's house tonight... as Daddy and Mommy have a dinner with some friends. Yay!

Gloomy Monday

Khloe was really trying to be excited about the start of a new week... but, this Monday has proven to be gloomy, wet and boring. We had some classes to attend today and some other quick stops in between. With the rain falling fairly steady, we opted to conclude our day and just head home. Khloe, of course, can make the best of any bad hap handed to her. LOL So, she chose to pick the tall grass sprouts, that have spiked up in height, in the yard (due to the excessive rain we have endeavored these past few weeks).

Papaw's Treat

Khloe had an eventful day. It was gloomy outside (probably because it has been raining for 3 weeks here), so she had the idea to go to Splash Park and play in the water... why not, we are already soaked from all this rain and flooding. We forgot her swimsuit at home, but no big deal... Gap Kids had swimwear on sale for $6. We swung by and grabbed a swimsuit, shopped a little and picked up Bubby from their football team bowling day. After Splash Park, we walked around the local town Square and ended up visiting Papaw at the visitors center. He treated Khloe to a scoop of her favorite ice cream (Bubby was treated, too). Khloe loves visiting her sweet Papaw! It was pizza for lunch, afterwards.

Kids Music Video Day

Khloe was excited to be part of the Marshall Mitchell Kids Music Video (here in our town). Khloe was the center of attention... as she always chooses to be. Khloe had such a fun time with the other kids. The kids (and Khloe) there today got to be part of the professional music video, YouTube video and featured in the local newspaper... So cool! This was right up her alley, no doubt. Khloe went with mommy, afterwards, to pick up Bubby from football practice and then to meet Daddy at our local town square for some fun in the sun and ice cream parlor treats.

Geese Invasion

Khloe was Mommy's sidekick today. She had a class today (after we picked up Bubby from Football practice). Afterwards, she really wanted to visit the geese at the park. We saw them earlier as we passed the park on our way to her class. There were so many geese... they were trying to stay cool in the pond nearby and feasting on food droppings near the picnic tables. They were happy, non-attacking geese today, so Khloe enjoyed watching them flock together. We had some packages of crackers in the car and she begged to feed them. Simple pleasures.

Marvelous Monday

Khloe is always a little drained when the new week rolls around... usually from all the festivities/activities the weekend before held. But, she was a trooper. She wanted to go with Mommy to take Bubby to his early morning (and I mean EARLY) football practice (maybe she just wanted to be treated to breakfast). The rest of the day consisted of errands (Bubby's eye doctor appointment, Football Parents meeting, lunch and a little free play at Chick Fil-A). Khloe has recently taken a liking to shrimp... and she requested it for dinner. Mmm..

Day with Grandparents'

Khloe was privileged with getting to see both sets of her grandparents today. She went shopping with Mommy, Bubby and Grandma (it was tax-free weekend in our state). After much fun... and way too much traffic, we grabbed some lunch. Afterwards, we met Daddy back at home, so Mommy could get ready for the Benefit Dinner they were invited to attend. (Mommy and Daddy got to meet several NFL and NBA stars, ie Terrell Owens, Ronnie Brewer and etc.). Before heading to their dinner, Bubby went to stay over at his friends' house and Khloe went to her Papaw/Nana's for overnight fun!

Friday Fun

Khloe enjoyed spending time with Mommy and Bubby today. She helped Mommy pick out a new cell phone. Afterwards, we went to enjoy some playtime and lunch at Chick Fil A. Khloe made some friends in the play zone, as always! After, we took Bubby to get his hair cut. Before heading home for the day, we stopped by Khloe's Dance School and registered her for dance classes this coming dance year. She's taking one extra class this year... Jazz/Hip Hop (along with Ballet/Tap). She is going to be a super busy girl, but she'll love it. She loves dance class!

Sleeping Beauty

Khloe had such a busy day, yesterday. Today, she spent most of the day organizing at home with Mommy and Bubby. She was so sleepy, though (due to allergies)... she fell asleep early in the afternoon and got some much needed beauty sleep - lasting all of 3 hours. We met up with Daddy for some serious grocery shopping (as our refrigerator was empty due to our European getaway). Khloe has been ran down with allergies, but she is perking up after all the TLC Mommy has been giving her. :)
