Back in Action

We are back from our trip to Italy. It was a lovely time, but we're ready to get back to our daily fashion posts! :) 

Khloe was so excited to be back on her daily routine... so much that she was conflicted on everything she wanted to do today!! She really wanted to visit her favorite cupcake shop... who makes her favorite miniature cupcakes that are absolutely delicious. Khloe took the day easy and enjoyed every minute of her day. We caught up on lots of errands today (as you can image... being out of the country for two weeks). Bubby went with us. Khloe and Mommy spent a great deal of time just laying on the trampoline and talking today. Aww! Overall, Khloe was treated extra special today!

TGIF

Thank Goodness it's Friday! Khloe had a very relaxing day, today. She watched some new movies. She hung out (while Mommy finished packing for our trip and completing household chores). Khloe has been playing with her Strawberry Shortcake and Hello Kitty bandaids most of the day... Mommy found them stuck to her car, mirrors, bed and all over Khloe. LOL Silly girl! When Daddy gets home from work, he is taking her on a DD (Daddy/Daughter) Date. They are going to go swimming. Afterwards, they will stop by her favorite ice cream parlor in town.

Nail Salon Princess

Khloe woke up super early this morning to ride with Mommy (to take Bubby to early football practice) in town. Goodness. 5:30am is much too early. Nonetheless, she welcomed the morning with a smiling face. Bubby, also, had an orthodontist appointment this morning (after football practice); Khloe loves hanging out there (they have an ice cream machine). ;) Mommy had a SUPER special day planned for sweet Khloe, after Bubby's appointments/activities. We chose today to get Mommy/Daughter Manicures/Pedicures together (before we leave for our big trip to Europe, this weekend). Khloe felt so special being pampered with mommy... she had a permanent grin on her sweet face! (The Manis/Pedis were a gift from a very sweet friend for Khloe's big 4th Birthday)... Thanks, Cheryl and Kenzi!!

Storytime Wednesday

Khloe gets so giddy about Story/Activity time at the library. She loves hearing the stories and singing... and the fun projects that follow. This week was extra special to her, because Bubby decided to come watch her! There were several little girls her age there... which made her happy. She is already starting her separation anxiety about our trip. She is going to be in good hands, but is not happy that Mommy won't be there to tuck her in and kiss her good-night. :( That's why Mommy is making this week extra special for our sweet girl!! We met up with Daddy for lunch today, too. Yay!

Geese & Thunder

Khloe ran some last minute errands with Mommy and Bubby, today... as Mommy is preparing for our trip to Italy this weekend. So, after running errands (and enjoying a light lunch), we stopped by a beautiful area in our city to observe the geese (before it started raining). When we were there, we heard loud thunder... but, never got rained on. Khloe saw a flock of geese fly into the pond beside her and saw schools of goldfish in the pond. She loved exploring nature!

Fun Day Monday

Khloe hung out with her Bubby today. She was a happy girl! Khloe was treated to Starbucks, with Mommy and Bubby (of course, no coffee for her... just a cake pop). She had a great time this past weekend (getting to spend a night with her Papaw and Nana). Daddy went on a weekend trip, where he spent one night camping out with his friend. It was a busy weekend... Bubby even stayed over at his friend's house. Khloe and Mommy have been pampering each other and soaking up some quality time!

Skipping Rocks

Khloe is loving all this summer playtime with Mommy and her Bubby. Daddy was out enjoying some golf and other outdoors activities, while we played our hearts out (well, as much as we could without the massive heat interfering!). Khloe helped Mommy pick out so many pairs of shoes (from Mommy's shoe closet), this morning. We donated 15 pairs of Mommy's gorgeous heels and a handbag for a handbag/shoes sale (benefiting our friend and her daughter on their upcoming Mission Trip). We were thrilled to donate! So, we rewarded ourselves to frozen lattes and frozen hot chocolate at our local coffee shop. Afterwards, we visited splash park and threw rocks at a local creek.

Park Prissy

Khloe, again, found herself at the park enjoying some fun play time, while Bubby played basketball. She loves the swirly slides the best... and all the other slides, too. Khloe helped mommy clean vegetables and cook dinner (Asian lettuce wraps) tonight. Yummy! Afterwards, she enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with her Daddy... she loves her Mommy, Daddy and Bubby so much! And, they love her just as much!

Storytime at Library

Khloe loves summertime activities. She had such a fun time reading stories about dogs at the library. She loves to read! After storytime, the pre-schoolers were given an activity (based on the books they read - one in particular about a dog getting dirty). So, the activity was to take a drawing of a dog and add elmer's glue all over the dog pictured... then pour sand on the glue to hold. The sand is supposed to represent the dog getting dirty in the story. Khloe was proud of her work and wanted to give her project to her grandparents. Sweet girl!

Heat Wave

Khloe has been so excited about playing outside this summer, since the temperatures have been abnormally low (for July) in our hometown. BUT, today was the exception... Can you say holy heat?! Even the breeze was a dry miserable mass of heat. Not at all fun to be out in today. We spent a short amount of time at the park today... with the heat ricocheting off of the turf... it felt like 200 degrees out there. Now this is typical July temps. Ha! Not even the heat can stop this sassy girl from having a great time!

Dinner with the BOYS

Khloe had a great day. She stayed the night, last night, with Papaw and Nana (and played her heart out). Mommy and Bubby picked up Khloe from their house today after noon. Khloe was so excited because our friends, the Daugherty's, were in town (they live 4.5 hours away from us) and meeting us for dinner. They have two boys around Khloe's age, Penn and Rowan. Our good friends, the Gores, were also meeting us at dinner... and Khloe always enjoys being around their two boys, too, Graelen and Lochlan. Needless to say, she was the only little girl... 4 boys to 1 girl. Ha! Khloe enjoyed her time with the boys!

Splash Park Excitement

Khloe had more fun, again, today. She went (with Mommy) to pick up Bubby from their grandparents' home. After grabbing a quick lunch, Khloe changed in to her swimsuit and ventured to the Splash Park. This is one of her favorite things to do in the summer. She loves to run through the park and dodge the spurts of water that shoots out of the ground. She dodges it and runs back to Mommy giggling. LOL Silly girl!

Parky Park!

Khloe is finally winding down from the action-packed week of holidays. July is always super busy for our family... Anniversaries, Birthdays, Holidays... Whew! Today, Daddy rode motorcycles with his friend and Papaw, so Mommy and Khloe decided to have a girl day. We ate lunch at Olive Garden, had a coffee/dessert date and ended our day at the playground (Khloe's favorite passtime!). Bubby was off with Uncle and Grandpa, today. Too much fun for one little lady!

Little Miss Firecracker!

Happy 4th of July, all! Khloe enjoyed seeing her family today... Aunts, Uncle, Cousins, Grandparents, etc. She made her rounds for sure! She finished off the day watching the huge fireworks show (that our city puts on every year!). It was a grand time! Khloe was one happy, little girl. She didn't like fireworks up close this year, but she marveled the fireworks show that the city put on. Her Aunt T and cousins were in town from Nashville, so that was pretty exciting for Khloe!

Sweet Birthday Girl

Khloe is 4! She got to choose what she wanted to do all day today on her big birthday. She already had her big party this past weekend, so today is her day to unwind and do what she chooses. We started off the day with a yummy breakfast at home... off to a short class afterwards. Then, we went to her favorite cupcake shoppe and enjoyed a mini cupcake and princess tea. After that, we went to Build-A-Bear and Khloe picked out her own bear and the bear's outfit/shoes. The bear had to be princessy, of course. All pink. She chose a ballerina dress and slippers. She named her Elizabeth. LOL After all the fun, we took her bear and met Daddy, Papaw and Nana for her birthday dinner... finishing the evening with some park time and opening gifts at home. Happy birthday, Khloe! We love you, Princess!
