Skipping Rocks

The weather was extremely warm today... unlike what it has been over the past week (chilly and rainy). It would be nice to have weather that is in between the cold and hot, for once. But, Khloe still enjoyed playing at the park and skipping rocks at the creek by the park. It was so soothing for her. She enjoyed lunch at Olive Garden with Mommy, Daddy and Brother, too! Khloe adores her family and the outdoors!

Super-di-Duper Busy Day

Today, we had so many errands and classes. Khloe had speech class and dance class... Bubby had his Orthodontist appointment. Lots to do and not enough daylight. LOL Khloe absolutely loved seeing all her friends today... she was in heaven! The girls got their Recital Dresses today... and they are cutesy (not fru-fru enough, in my opinion... but super sweet!). Khloe's dance teacher wanted to see all the girls in their dresses (mainly to make sure they fit), so when we got there we immediately tried our dresses on and danced a little in them. All the girls are adorable!

Arissa's Wedding

Khloe's cousin got married today. Khloe got to experience her first wedding (where she was old enough to remember). She really had a great time playing with the other little girls and boys there! She gets so excited playing with other kids because she's with her much older brother, mommy and daddy all the time. It was a beautiful ceremony... minus the cold rain that misted on us the entire wedding. :)

Chick-Fil-A Kind-of-Day

Khloe was a little trooper today. We had to drop Mommy's car off at the dealership to get serviced. Then we had a short class today... afterwards, Khloe insisted on Chick-Fil-A for lunch (it was a good day for Chick-Fil-A). After a yummy, short lunch, we went to our local Dancewear Boutique and upsized in Khloe's Ballet Shoes (she has outgrown two pairs of ballet slippers for dance class in just 6 months).

Bubbles with Mrs. Helene

Khloe has been working on some of her muscle strength in her mouth (in speech class) the past several weeks. She is still set to have surgery to correct her VPI Cleft, but it is several months out now. She has a wonderful teacher who works so well with her and helps her so much with her muscle strength in her mouth and speech. We love Mrs. Helene!  Today, Khloe blew bubbles through a straw to the stick to work on strengthening techniques. What a fun exercise for speech! Khloe's BFF in class, Ava, was not there today. All these allergens are making everyone sick.

Misting Day

Today, it has been raining... mainly misting rain. Something about kids in the rain... it's a magical time for them. Ha! Khloe wanted to play in the rain... but her favorite thing to do in the rain (light rain, that is) is jump on the slippery trampoline. Oh so much fun! Khloe ran some Tuesday errands with Mommy (ie taking Daddy to pick up his Hummer -he just had some LED lights put on both sides of for camping fun, picking Bubby up from school, grocery shopping and etc.). Khloe still loves her not-so-fun, busy, errand days!

Cupcake Party in Dance Class

We haven't posted in a few days. Khloe went to Branson this past weekend with her grandparents, while Mommy and Daddy spent the weekend in Chicago (a mini getaway). :) So, we are back on track today.

Today, Khloe had a dance class. One of the little dancers in her class (Rainyn) celebrated her birthday after class with all the girls. They had cupcakes, drinks and goody bags. So sweet! Khloe was happy to be part of the festivities. Allergens are all in the air, so Khloe had red, puffy eyes today. But, it didn't stop her from being cute!

Action-Packed Day

Khloe loves Wednesdays. It's mid-week and she gets to see Ava. She adores her! Today, after class, the girls decided to run out to the field beside the school and pick flowers... well, weeds and flowers. LOL They had so much fun at their little reunion. So cute! After class, we picked brother up from school and met Daddy at the car shop (where he was getting some LED lights put on all four corners of his Hummer (they come in handy on his outdoor endeavors). Afterwards, we went to a local restaurant and invited Papaw and Nana to join us. Khloe had an action-packed day, for sure!

Miss Sneezy

Khloe is all sneezes today.... as she struggles to fight off all these allergens. Pollen... Oh pollen. She still managed to have a good day, regardless! :) Khloe ran some much needed errands with mommy today. She is going on a fun weekend trip with her grandparents this weekend, so we had to find some things to take with her. It's going to be a fun road trip for one happy, little girl.

Fun at Fast Lanes & Crystal Bridges

Khloe's brother's Orthodontist was having their Annual Customer Appreciation Event at a fun place for kids today. There was so much to do (ie. race cars, bowling, games galore) and all you can eat pizza and drinks. Khloe had so much fun! We set out a little before sunset, so we could get some fun sunset pictures at our local art museum. Khloe loves the outdoors... just like Daddy!

Pasta - It's What's for Dinner

Today, Khloe was super excited. She knew that the evening held meeting two new little boys (both younger than her). We had dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant (authentic Italian) in our Town Square. We met our friends and their two little boys there. The food was yummy! After dinner, we went to our newest hotel on the  Square (21c) and admired some art and interesting projections with the kids. Then we went home (they followed)... where Khloe was being very motherly to the little boys and correcting them... telling them not do things they weren't supposed to do. LOL

Pollen Pollen Everywhere...

Tis' the season for blooming beauties... trees, flowers and all! But, with the beauty comes pollen galore. There is pollen everywhere and it not good for sinuses. Khloe's little eyes are swollen and she has been trying to fight off all this yucky pollen in the air. But, she's a trooper... and it never affects her daily activities! Today, we dropped Bubby off with Uncle R and Grandpa... He is heading to Fort Worth, Texas tomorrow for the Nascar Races! Khloe LOVES her Bubby!

Our Fave Teacher

Khloe got to stay the night with her Papaw and Nana, last night. So, Mommy picked Khloe up and at their house, so that she could go to class today (today she had class with her friend, Ava). Miss Helene is such a great teacher, too, she compliments Khloe every time she sees her... she admires her outfits! She hugs on her... they are a great team! Her teacher really does a great job with Khloe's motor skills! She has been her most hands on teacher, yet. We love her!

To Papaw and Nana's House She Goes

Khloe woke up this morning and was SO excited about what the day holds... She gets to go see all her horses at Papaw/Nana's house! She, also, gets to stay the night with her grandparents, which equals one super happy little girl! This morning, Khloe jumped right in her Daddy's massage chair and decided it was time for her own massage... before heading to her short speech class and then Papaw/Nana's house following!

Twirly Girly

Khloe wanted to wear lots of pink today for dance class. Monday is one of her favorite days of the week because of dance! It was overcast outside, so the sun wasn't hurting her eyes as normal. It was a lovely day. Khloe enjoyed all of her her fellow classmates in dance... They are all one big little family! After dance, we just went home to enjoy this beautiful day!

Tulip Time

Today, Khloe and Mommy spent the majority of the day outside... as the weather was perfect today! We spent a great deal of time in our town Square... where we walked some trails and played in the park (while having our own little photo shoot under the flowering trees). There were gorgeous tulips everywhere. Then, we ventured off to some shopping and fun at Chuck E. Cheese's. Daddy and Bubby went on an all day canoe trip (they invited Papaw, too). A new cupcake shop in town opened, BLISS Cupcakes... so, of course, Khloe had to try it. They had a Gluten-free cupcake we tried. Yummy.

Dinner with the Gores

Today, the weather was perfect! Sun shining, wind at a minimum and birds chirping! Khloe definitely wanted to be outside today. After a quick run to the Revenue office (tag renewal time)... we enjoyed some fresh air outdoors. We drove through our town square for 1st Friday music in the air... people were out and about everywhere! We had dinner plans with our good friends, the Gores and their two precious boys (who Khloe adores!).

Meeting Daddy for Lunch

Daddy spontaneously called Khloe and Mommy today... He wanted to meet us for a lunch date! Khloe was excited, because it was one of her favorite restaurants in our town! She loves those peanuts. Hee hee! She strongly agreed. So, before Khloe's little class today, we met up with Daddy and obliged. It was a nice day... a tad bit windy, but nice overall.

Friendship Wednesday

Khloe just loves Wednesdays. It is the day that she has her long class with her friend, Ava! Khloe always gets anxious when she gets to see little miss Ava. She adores her friendship with her. They are so cute! Mommy was feeling better today... Yay! So, mommy treated Khloe for lunch (chicken and gravy), after class.

Spring Photo Session

Khloe had an amazing Spring Photo Session with the talented Katie Cole. Katie always does a great job capturing sweet moments of Miss Khloe! Khloe is a natural at posing (as she poses for mommy all the time), but there is such thing as too much posing. LOL We had to tell her to stop posing during her Photo Session... She was twisting and turning... and bending and crossing her legs. It was hilarious. What do you expect from a girly girl?! ;)

Spending the Day with Daddy

Mommy was under the weather today (some yucky virus), so Daddy stepped up and played Mommy for the day! What a good Daddy, huh?!! He took Khloe to dance class and got to watch her dance for an hour. He, also,  took her to see Mamaw (Khloe's Great Grandmother),  playtime at the park and visit Papaw/Nana (because they were back in town from Texas). Khloe got to stay the night with her Papaw and Nana tonight.
