Daddy's Home!

Daddy has been gone for 10 days and he flew home yesterday! He took Papaw to Chile (South America)... one little Princess was missing her daddy terribly and was so happy when he got home! Yay, daddy! After the snow, yesterday (we stayed home and did nothing!)... today Khloe had class with little Ava!

It's Raining... It's Pouring...

It has been a rainy, yucky, nasty, cold Monday (no fun) kind of day! We pretty much just ran into town for dance class and came straight home. It is not fun being out in this kind of weather. Sheesh. But, Khloe wanted to wear one of her fluffy dance outfits to dance class today... so mommy abided. :) She pranced around and twirled constantly in her dress today!

Shopping with Mommy

We have a super busy weekend full of baby showers, birthday parties and etc. Goodness! So, we had to go grab a few gifts for all the parties... Khloe helped mommy pick out the gifts for the babies (for the showers). Other than those errands, Khloe continued to learn how to trace her letters today... and read with mommy.

Snow...Snow...Snow!

Finally, there is some snow on the ground! Khloe was so excited when she went outside before her class to see a shimmering sheet of white snow on the ground... Didn't last long, though. Schools were called out around noon... well, all except the schools in our area. LOL Bubby stayed in school. Khloe got to see her BFF, Ava, today... Yay! She was a happy girl!

Tuesday Shoes Day

Today, Khloe wanted to pick out her shoes today. LOL! Mommy let her, of course... But, mommy had to find an outfit to match. Especially, since the shoes she chose to wear were ORANGE. Ha! We cleaned up the house a bit today, read books and worked on outlining letters with her forefinger (to get the hang of writing). She did so good, so mommy promised her Olive Garden for dinner!

Monday Jiggy

It stormed half of the day... including hail. Khloe was able to strutt her chevron umbrella, though! :) We had dance class today. Khloe was really excited to see her fellow dancers/friends today! We picked up some new dance outfits today, as well. So pretty! <br/>

Casual Saturday

Today, Khloe was still under the weather a bit. Daddy worked a few hours in his office and then we headed to lunch... Daddy, Mommy, Bubby and Khloe. :) Khloe wanted to go to the park SO badly, but it was much too cold outside (38 degrees), so we went home and played. Khloe didn't feel like dressing up today, so we just threw on some clothes.

Post Doctor's Appointment

Khloe hasn't been eating much the last couple of days and holding her tongue out a lot, so we made a quick trip to see the doctor this morning (I didn't want her to be miserable all weekend and her doctor's office not be open). As suspected, she had an ear infection in her right ear. Bless her heart. Her throat is raw from the drainage. But, nothing ever gets this super strong little girl down... Nothing! She wanted to visit the geese on this picture perfect day... Her wish is mommy's command!

Valentine Day Diva

Happy Valentine's Day, Friends! Today, Khloe had a short class. We ran to the craft store right after class to get some crafts to make for Valentine's Day. And, of course, Mommy insisted on a quick photo shoot for Valentine's Day (since Khloe looked so dolled up today) at our favorite old barn!

A Little Under the Weather

It FINALLY snowed last night... most of the night, but by 9am it had completely melted. So, Bubby had school and Khloe didn't get to play in the snow. Boo! But, she at least got to go to her class and see her BFF, Ava! It was a happy reunion between those two little sweeties!

Valentine's Party in Dance Class

Khloe was so excited for today to get here! Last night, we finalized all her gift bags (for her fellow dancers in dance class) for their Valentine's Party today! This morning, we made all the mini cupcakes and cake cookies. Of course, Khloe sampled the icing during the process. ;) Khloe dressed in hearts for the party...

Busy Morning...

This morning, Khloe was helping mommy make some of the goody bags that we are giving the girls in her dance class for their Valentine's Party tomorrow. She wanted to be such a big helper, but mostly supervised the process. Khloe's daddy was away on a weekend hiking/camping trip, so it was just mommy, bubby and sissy! We met daddy for dinner later.

Olivia's Birthday Party

Daddy went to the woods to hike/slumber over night. He left at 5 a.m. So, mommy and Khloe went to our friends' little girl's 2nd Birthday Party, Miss Olivia. They had fun jumping on all the blow ups. Pizza for lunch and cupcakes for dessert. What more can a toddler ask for?!

Dinner Date with Daddy

Today was pretty laid back. Khloe helped mommy around the house. We got ready to meet Daddy for dinner tonight. We all have a busy weekend, so dinner was laid back tonight! Khloe worked on coloring and writing today... She LOVES to learn!

Raindrops Falling on my Head

It was raining most of the day... and, of course, little miss Khloe never lets it rain on her parade! She was in the front yard watching two squirrels gather food and run up and down trees. It was the cutest thing. Khloe was talking to the squirrels like they were pets, saying "Oh hi there Squirrels... come here!" Ha!

Playground Fun

Khloe was a lucky girl and got to stay the night with her Papaw/Nana, last night! They took her to breakfast at a local diner this morning, before mommy picked her up to head to class. (She always loves Papaw/Nana time!) She did so good in class today... her teacher is amazed at how much this little girl knows... She is border-line genius. Truthfully. Khloe is only 3 years old and can count to 69; knows all of her letters; can identify her numbers and letters out of order; knows simple addition (ie: 1+1, 2+1...); knows all her shapes (even pentagon!); knows all her colors; can spell her name (gets a couple letters jumbled in her last name); knows all her opposites; can read basic words; knows her mommy, daddy and brother's age; and the list goes on! She has known most of these things since before she turned 2 years old. (Sorry, mommy's bragging rights!) Back to today... So, after class we picked up lunch and spent some time exercising at one of our local parks! (The weather was lovely today!)

Oh me..Oh my!

Today was a play day for Miss Khloe. She so badly wanted to play outside. The weather (alway unpredictible, might I mind you) was in the 70's... wind barely blowing... sun shining! Perfect day! We ran in to town for Khloe's class. Afterwards, we went to our favorite dancewear shop... bought some pretties for dance class. Then, grabbed lunch and headed home to play before heading out to the park before sunset.

Dance Day

Khloe loves Mondays... She loves to start the week off with her dance class! Today a couple of the girls were missing from dance class (one had the flu). So, they practiced their dance for recital. They are so precious... I just love watching the sweet little girls dance! It is gorgeous outside today, so we stopped for lunch and enjoyed a little picnic (with mommy and Khloe only).

Portrait Session/Bow*Tique Show

Khloe had her Valentine's Portrait Session today with one of our favorite photographers... Katie Cole! Katie is able to capture some precious moments of Khloe (and Khloe's brother) even when they are uncooperative! :) Khloe was dressed all cutesy in an ellie dress that Nana made her just for Valentine's Day! But, after the session, we quickly changed clothes and headed to Papaw/Nana's house for the last day of their boutique show. (Khloe had a breakfast date with her daddy this morning, too!)

Girly Girl Day

Today was the Matilda Jane Spring Release Day. Which means... Matilda Jane (our fave clothing company) released the Spring clothing pieces to the public for purchase. And, release days are CRAAAAZY. Clothing pieces sometimes sell out in 5-10 minutes... with no replenish. So, if you really want a certain clothing item that might be one of the quick sell-outs, then you must find a really good trunk keeper that has quick fingers to grab your pieces for you. We love our Trunk Keeper (aka TK)! She's great and always gets our fave pieces for us! Thank you, girl! So, Khloe and I went to see the clothing line in person at our TK's house (while we were there, Khloe played with her girls... whom she loves soooo much!). Afterwards, we headed over to Nana's Boutique show this weekend (a huge little girl boutique that carries the most adorable girl accessories and handmade ellie dresses). Her show was today and tomorrow.
